Abstract The article presents the most important factors influencing the effectiveness of foreign language teaching in the online environment, in terms of both content-related and organizational knowledge. The authors refer to the most important elements of using digital technology and the model of activities used by teachers in online education. As a practical example of the implementation of the values described in the first part of the text, the authors discuss the concept of TEIP camps, which were organized online in 2020.
