CAERM, nominated at the Eco & Organic Retail Awards

The nomination comes in the category as best Marketing Campaign for promoting ecological products

In February, the Ecological Farming Council of the Region of Murcia (CAERM), a public authority in charge of the control and certification of ecological produce according to the European Union legislation, presented its candidacy to these awards organised by Organic Food y Eco Living Iberia, the international professional trade fair for the ecological sector, and Bio Eco Actual, an independent medium for ecological foodstuffs.

The nomination belongs to the category of Best Marketing Campaign for promoting ecological products, a subject on which the CAERM has been working since its very beginning.

These awards are aimed at recognising and rewarding the importance both of the companies devoted to the retail sector and to the organisations that promote the consumption of ecological produce in Spain and Portugal.

To attend the award ceremony, which will be held on the 7th of June at 7 pm at Organic Food Iberia, Madrid Ifema convention centre, you must register as a visitor to the trade fair.

The itinerant “Colmado bio” campaign, by CAERM, nominated to the awards

The CAERM has presented to the awards the itinerant “Colmado bio” campaign, which was held on the 23rd of September last year, on European Ecological Farming Day; and in which over 1,200 kg of bio fruit and vegetables were given out to the residents of the towns in Murcia of Mula, Jumilla, Caravaca and Lorca. All of this was aimed at showcasing the good work by the ecological operators and preparers in the Region.

This action is encompassed within the CAERM’s promotion campaign for ecological produce in the Region of Murcia, ‘Buenos por Naturaleza’ (Naturally Good), in which the fact that bio produce is good for you and for your surroundings are emphasised.

Nominations such as this one imply a motivation to continue promoting the ecological production and consumption of organic food from the Region.
