Design Experience
Inclusive Design: Design experience with inclusive aspects regarding disabilities within projects. Ability to use anthropometric data and empathy tools to design and create products which work for a wide target market.
Concept Visualisation and analysis: Produced various types of models to at all stages of design in order to analyse and evaluate key design decisions. This allowed for me to conduct testing regarding; usage ability, structural strength and component movement.
Team Design: Team work within challenge projects which had strict limitations and boundaries resulting in heavy research and a lot of concepts for designs, mixing different group member attributes to solve challenges. For example, one sheet plywood project.
Sustainable Design: Produced a total redesign for the packaging of one of the most popular items in IKEA. Turning its material use from 100% plastic to 100% paper-based card keeping in mind its information content ,product protection and brand identity. Produced a final full scale model.
Graphic Design: Designed, formatted and edited photos for exhibition banners along with foam-board posters for products and teams. Experience in customisation of stock products based on clients needs using adobe suit. Used various production techniques to produced finalised designs.
