honesty Our learning environment:

Our school enjoys direct access to the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. Much of our curriculum revolves around making use of the large playing field and outside areas. In addition, we build in visits to Badby Woods to further enhance our curriculum.

"I love the outs|de area - you can look for lots of sp|der webs!" (Year 1 pup|l) Our school has grown from an original Georgian building of three classes to an extended site which houses a pre-school room as well as seven classrooms. Our library areas are recently refurbished and are a focal point for research as well as a space to enjoy peace and calm. At Badby School we pride ourselves on our continuous development of technology provision thus ensuring that our children have the skills required to be ready for the future. All classrooms benefit from recently updated Clevertouch screens and share access to suites of iPads, laptops, chromebooks and tablets.

courage Active learners: Here at Badby, sports and P.E. are given high priority. As active members of local school sports partnerships, we work hard to provide opportunities for all children to develop sport and team skills. As well as high quality PE lessons, we also provide an extensive range of after school sports activities including netball, multi-skills, athletics, football and basketball. We pride ourselves in taking part in as many local sports competitions as possible and usually come home with a trophy or two!

"PE |s really fun. We learn rules and sk|lls for lots of d|fferent sports l|ke football, tag rugby, golf and archery." (Year 6 pup|l) Many of our children also choose to learn to play a musical instrument and go on to join the Northamptonshire music school. This often leads to an invitation to join the County Strings Orchestra.

(TA) Staff in Bluebells mirror the style of learning from across the school and work in unison with the Reception class team to ensure a smooth transition into school. We also provide affordable, well-established and popular wrap around care for children from pre-school to Year 6 which is supported by qualified practitioners. In addition, we run a wide range of after school, teacher led, activity clubs to suit all ages and interests. Please speak with the school office for further information.
