Vertical Datum Year: Spring 2020 Professor: Sarah Gamble
The vertical datum is an analysis of communication in an upstanding way. The tower provides a path of circulation and holding space which can connect multiple levels of occupation. Space allows transition throughout the tower. The shifting allows the tower a form that makes the perfect path for gymnastic circulation.

The site is located at 417 South Main Street Gainesville Florida. The project was about how to transform a fire station into a theater. Using the historic background of Downtown Gainesville we were able to design a theater that faces all four sides of the streets on the block. Our main focus was to emphasize the openness to the street with a welcoming place. The theatre has a black box area, offices, and an open theater space.
