Graduate Certificate in Education Policy
The Florida State University College of Education
Certificate in Educational Policy - Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATIONAL POLICY The education community is experiencing a period of challenge about the certificate in Educational Policy that may well obscure any other period in recent educational history. Educational structures are being transformed through restructuring and reform initiatives. Widespread fiscal crises require schools to accomplish more, often under increasing funding restrictions, and social problems are spilling over into our schools at an accelerating rate. In effect, the turbulent nature of contemporary educational practice requires effective and creative policy responses on a continuous basis. Administrators and policy professionals need training to effectively carry out policy planning, analysis, and implementation that address the current issues in educational policy. The program targets educational professionals in a variety of roles who aspire to, are currently engaged, or who have been engaged, either directly or indirectly, in the design, development, analysis or implementation of educational policy.
