PRODUCT REVIEW: RISK RACING PALM PROTECTORS

The geniuses over at Risk Racing have developed Palm Protectors, a soft “glove-like” feature that is worn underneath riding gloves. Palm Protectors are a protective layer offering full coverage protection of the palm as well as the saddle area between the index finger and thumb.
Palm Protectors come in three sizes to fit any rider no matter the shape or size.
What do they do?
Palm Protectors were made to combat any riders worst nightmare, blisters. The neoprene material aids in protection to the areas of the hand which are affected by intense friction, rubbing, heat and moisture.
In addition to eliminating blisters, Palm Protectors also help reduce vibration on the bars (no, nail polish doesn’t actually work). This helps reduce the dreaded “arm pump”.
The Verdict
After multilple rides with the Risk Racing Palm Protectors it is clear that blisters will have a hard time forming. Although, they do take a ride or two to get used to the lightweight and free-moving material tends to form to your hand nicely. These are perfect for those warriors who race both Saturday and Sunday. Weather you are out for a trail ride or racing a two-hour hare scramble these bad boys are worth checking out, especially at the $7.99 price point.
