Starting Line to Checkered Flag…

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Happy New Year!! Many of us have said this line more years than we care to admit. We looked at our clocks and phones as 2021 became 2022. We check our calendars and decide what resolutions we’re willing to attempt. Time...time…time, it seems we can’t operate without it.

For God, there is no time. In Exodus 3:14 Moses asked God’s Spirit in the burning bush,” who should I say sent me? God answered, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you”. .

One of the names of God is “I am”. He is always present tense, not “I was” reminding us of our pasts or “I will be” hiding our futures. God is always present, not only in tense but present with us everywhere.

No matter what you are going through, God is with you; loving you, wanting to share, talk, comfort and guide if you only let Him. But… you have to let Him.

By choosing to have a per-

sonal relationship with Jesus, you can have Him(God) in your heart. Jesus, God on earth, is the only way. In his own words, He lovingly stated in John 14:6, “ I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jesus has opened the door and is waiting for you to come in and live a full and blessed life; now and forever!
