“Praise and Thank You”

With the challenges we all have faced over the last 12 months, it is easy to get “caught up” in anxiety, anger even a little self-pity. It’s even easier to forget the good things God, our loving Father, has given us and the blessings He continues to send our way.

In 1 Chronicles 16:34 we are encouraged to, “Give thanks to GOD—he is good and his love never quits.” His love for us is all surrounding, all-encompassing and never ending. No matter what is happening, an illness, a job loss or even the passing of a loved one, God is there lifting us up, covering us with his love.

Psalm 107:8-9 shows how much He cares. He put your feet on a wonderful road that took you straight to a good place to live. So thank God for his marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to the children he loves. He poured great drafts of water down parched throats; the starved and hungry got plenty to eat.

He will meet our every need. God honors our efforts, knows our pains, and blesses us. “ Surely he says this for us, doesn’t he? Yes, this was written for us, because whoever plows and threshes should be able to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest.” (1 Corinthians 9:10)

So when the hard times seem

to be the only future, call out to God. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

With your minds at peace because of His love we truly can say “thank you!” “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” (Psalm 100:4)

“The Good Race” joy service is every Saturday night from 7:30 to 7:45 pm. We meet at the CMA tent. Bring a chair and come join us!
