The NGO has become a very common term in India. It is amazing how these self governed bodies are working in India for its upliftment. Ngo makes the country people aware about their basic rights that very few people are aware of and therefore has led to the stagnancy in the growth of the country itself. Very few people have the right amount of knowledge about various ngo schemes that are managed by the central government. These organizations have become this SHG voice that raises its voice for the people till they are heard by the proper authorities.

The encounter of the Montessori method of education that I had a few years back that has grown out of an article written by me as a specific part of “Resurgent India” series a few years back. But this does not threaten the big multinational firms as their brand names and marketing and distribution infrastructure can penetrate the market with ease. Policies on poverty alleviation can be easily taken up by the developing states. The social entrepreneurs cab play vital role in this. This type of a mechanism in place to identify innovation that can work with the on ground projects can help with the development and upliftment of communities. For example the one computer per children idea. A product was there but a market was necessary so for the sake of activating the markets many countries like Nigeria a million of these computers. This volume of production if implemented all over would have helped to abridge the production cost. The pilot project for example showed and proved the fact that if children are provided with computer there would have been a change in the attitude for education, an interest in the field of science and technology would have been aroused easily.
