Quick User Guide on how to set up the new Active Weather feature.

Step 1:

• Click on the ‘Setup’ tab on the top centre of the screen.

• Click on the ‘options’ button.

Step 2:

• This is the submenu for the options menu.

• Scrolling down will show the location.

• Clicking ‘set’ will enter you into the edit page.

Step 3:

• Set the postcode to the location of where the air con is installed.

• This will give you live updates of weather in the suburb and then allowing you to set events for the unit.

Step 4:

• Click on the ‘Events’ tab on the top centre of the screen.

• Here you can view, add, edit and delete saved events.

• Events can be set and saved so when certain conditions are met in the suburb the unit is installed in, the unit will automatically turn on to the saved event.

• Pushing the ‘+’ button will add a new event to this page.

Step 5:

• This is the page after the + button has been pushed.

• Here you can edit the conditions that need to be met in the suburb before the unit will auto function or send a notification to connected phones that are connected to the system.

Step 6:

• You can set the conditions on this page.

• If the suburb temperature is above or below a certain temperature the system can be set to auto function to turn on the unit to cooling, heating, fan or dry.

Step 7:

• Tick the ‘Send notification’ check box to send a notification to all phones that have the anywAiR app, and that are connected to the same WIFI network that the anywAiR tablet is connected to.

• A contact number can be sent in this notification that will alert the connected phones to contact the number if the event has been triggered.

• Check the ‘Auto action’ box and click on the edit box to change the set mode/temperature/fan speed/zones.

Step 8:

• Click on ‘enable’ under the Active times section.

• Click on the edit icon to change the start and end time for this event.

• Selecting the days that you would like to have the event active on, turns the letters red.

• Select all days that suit the event that you have saved.

• This could be weekdays, weekends, both, or any random day to suit your schedule.

• In the example below, this auto action will only activate on weekdays during the hours of 4:00pm and 8:00pm if the suburbs conditions are met.

Step 9:

• Tapping on the Event 1 button will allow you to change the name of the event.

• You can have multiple events set for the same day, with different requirements.

Step 10:

• Once you have set all the required setting, go back out to the event page. Click on any event and you will see a summary of the conditions that must be met and the actions that will be taken if met.

Notes:

• Units can have a maximum of 12 events saved, making the operation of the events very different.

• You can have multiple events active at the same time.

• You can uncheck the ‘Auto action’ box and only have the system notify you when the suburb weather conditions are met. This way, you could work out if people are home and if operating the unit is worthwhile or not.

• You can only view the saved events on the mobile phones app. Adding and editing is not available on mobile phones and will need to be completed at the wall tablet.
