Use one of the most proficient ways to realize your dreams
Introduction Canada comes across as one of the fore-most countries which encourage new talent to open and conduct business in their country. Canada is known for the amazing infrastructure it offers to conduct business there. TO encourage foreign nationals set-up their business in the country, it has come up with Canada Start-up program. This program has been designed to build strong business class in the country. The business houses thus set up, should set about to contribute substantially to the economy of the country. Although it’s possible to apply for the program online, it is however advisable to work with Canada Visa Consultants in the country who have strong positive relationships with Canada Business houses.
Canada’s main target for this program is all those immigrant entrepreneurs who have the ability to build business. Such businesses should be innovative in nature. It should create jobs for the locals in Canada and it should be scalable globally. Such entrepreneurs should be able i. to prove one’s business qualification or experience ii. to obtain Letter of support from designated organizations iii. to meet language proficiency benchmark set by Canadian immigrations iv. to prove that the entrepreneur can support self and family economically without having to depend on public funds
Designated Organizations Designated Organizations are business houses or groups who have been authorized by the Government of Canada to invest or support start-ups in Canada. The applicant for a Start-up visa will have to get in touch with one of the designated organizations and convince them to support the business idea. Once the designated organization gets convinced, they provide a “letter of support to the start-up, after the applicant has entered in to an agreement with the designated organization. This is a mandatory document which should be presented to the immigration authorities along with application.
There are three different types of Designated Organization-
i. Venture Capital Fund (when the start-up needs capital funding to the tune of CAD $200,000) ii. Angel Investor Group (when the start-up needs capital funding to the tune of CAD $75,000) iii. Business Incubator who supports the idea (no investment required, but the entrepreneur should be incubated into their business incubator program)
When the organization and the start-up join together, a commitment certificate is directly sent to the immigrations authority by the Designated Organization. While applying for the visa, it is better if the applicant works with an ICCRC approved consultant for immigrations. Since they will be in a position to help the entrepreneurs find the right designated organization suitable for the requirement, they will be the best choice to proceed.
