The construction of a ski refers to the inside components, such as wood, polyurethane, fiberglass or metal (Titinal). The skis construction controls both the stability and level of performance. Within the Blizzard Quattro collection we use 7 different specifically designed constructions to optimize the level of stability and performance of every type of skier… for you.
Rocker influences the ease and control of the ski. The Blizzard Quattro Rocker Concept is made up of 4 different rocker configurations ranging from 0mm to 6mm of tip and tail rocker. As the performance level of each model increases, the amount of rocker decreases. More rocker promotes easier entry and exit of the turn making the skis easier to use and easier to control. Less rocker increases the precision and power.

FLIPCORE Flipcore is a revolutionary rockered ski production process that matches both the shape of the ski mold and the parts of the ski to the final rockered shape which allows the ski to be pressed in a natural way. The ski is not bent or artificially shaped in anyway in this process. The end result is skis that deliver a higher level of performance, stability, and ease of use.

By integrating bi-directional Carbon Fiber into the rockered areas of the tip and tail, we were able to further increase the stability and predictability of our Freeride skis. The rockered sections feel calm and are less prone to vibration. The carbon fiber material in the tip and tail also reduces the swing weight which makes the skis easier to maneuver. ROCKER PROFILES Ski profile with noticeable rocker at the tip and tail, flat in the middle. The noticeable curvature of the tip and tail favors optimal floatation in backcountry terrain. The flat profile in the middle guarantees stability on harder snow. Ski profile with a rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases floatation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow. The full camber ski profile guarantees perfect pressure distribution from tip to tail, maximizing edge grip throughout the arc of the turn.
