Be PART, in its seventh edition, once again invites us to continue joining efforts on behalf of the dream to have one day all our children living happy in their communities, with equal conditions that can fully assure their potential and development as individuals. The generosity of Colombian and Latin American artists who have participated so far in Be PART auctions since 2009, in the cities of New York, Miami and Madrid, has been a determining factor for the great success achieved in the events. Thanks to Be PART events, it has been possible to develop important projects for the Foundation in the cities of BogotĂĄ, Cali, DariĂŠn and MedellĂn which have allowed the Foundation to benefit hundreds of children and their families which have improved their conditions. Certainly, the art exhibition that we are proud to have this year, represents the great talent of our artists and also their social sensibility and commitment with Colombia. A heartfelt thanks to the people who have supported the event this year, sponsors, artists volunteers and collaborators. Thanks to their generosity and commitment this will, by no doubts, be again a successful event. We invite you all to get involved and generously participate so that we can reach many new families who are wiaiting for our support as their only hope for the future of their children.
DIANA PALACIO Be PART General Coordinator Board Member American Friends of the Bambi Homes
The Fondation Aide aux Enfants was created in Geneva some 33 years ago. Since then, around 17.000 children have found a better life thanks to the various programs we have promoted either directly or in joint collaboration with government institutions and the private sector in Colombia. The accent has been placed on creating a safe environment in homes where the children can fully develop their potential. In parallel, our Promefa Program gives parents an opportunity to develop their own varied activities with the ultimate goal of bringing about family unity. Be PART´s event is the result of a wonderful joint venture between our US organisation “American Friends of the Bambi Homes“ and the Director of our Colombian activities, Mrs Diana Palacio. For many years now, they have been working together to bring us an exceptional event benefiting the 1.100 some children whom we take care of yearly. We cannot be indifferent to the fact that in Colombia some two and a half million children live in a state of poverty and hundreds die each year of malnutrition and complete lack of attention. We, in Switzerland are very grateful for your presence at Be PART NY 2018, for the generosity of the artists whose works are being auctioned for this great cause and the wonderful organisation of this venue by the dedicated committee of our American Friends. Thank you for Being Part and thank you for your generosity with your bids.
