30 Years of Health Care
Transformed by Love
Kicking Off Siloam Health’s
30th Anniversary
30 years ago, Vanderbilt physician and Siloam Health co-founder Dr. David Gregory passed a note during a service at Belmont Church wondering if it would be “desirable and feasible” to create a health ministry in the Edgehill neighborhood. Little did he imagine the impact it would have on thousands of uninsured Nashvillians, including diverse new neighbors from over 100 nations who would increasingly call Nashville home. From providing vital refugee screenings for waves of groups like the Kurds, Somalis, and Lost Boys of Sudan to serving those impacted most by the COVID-19 pandemic, God always seemed to be positioning Siloam in the right place at the right time for outsized impact. The call to share the love of Christ with the underserved, uninsured, and culturally marginalized is one He’s empowered us to answer time and time again over the last 30 years. That impact ripples forward in the lives of literally thousands of volunteers, students, and even Siloam patients who are now living out a similar calling in other settings. Thanks to your support, we’ve seen Nashville thrive and patients’ lives forever changed because they have experienced something truly unique at
Siloam: health care transformed by love. We are excited to spend 2022 celebrating this milestone, and we hope you will join us in whatever ways you can as we share that gift with the Nashville community for the next 30 years. Sincerely,
Morgan Wills, MD President & CEO
LOOK BACK AT 30 YEARS OF CARE OVER
50,000 OUR YEAR OF CELEBRATION Siloam Health is excited to celebrate three decades of ministry, hope, and healing. With Christ's love and your support, we’ve served our neighbors in need - changing lives, families, and communities along the way. From our earliest days, we have never been alone; our generous volunteers, donors, and supporters have made this ministry a refuge for the thousands of patients Siloam has cared for. Join us as we cherish the moments we were made for, times when we were called to step up so that Nashville could be a sanctuary to the underserved, uninsured, and culturally marginalized. While faithfully putting our trust in God’s divine plan, Siloam Health has existed to transform Nashville's vulnerable communities so they can flourish. Thanks to you, our neighbors from many nations have experienced health care transformed by love. We ask that you join us, in whatever ways you can, as we kick off a yearlong 30th Anniversary celebration. Save the dates of our upcoming events, reminisce on Siloam’s history of healing, and join us in prayer using our Prayer Plan.
