INTRODUCING THE COLLECTION

The SS22 Main Collection focuses on creative experimentation, mixing suggestions that belong to the imagery common to every woman.

Furla Gilda & Meraviglia espadrille-effect constructions, in which rope and leather are mixed with white treaded rubber bottoms, to take on a more contemporary look. The ballerina in grained leather or striped canvas is enriched by a soft grosgrain ribbon that wraps around the ankle, while the new urban slide of the season is cleverly constructed around the fussbet, as if it were a single body held together by an enveloping leather cross.

On the one hand a relaxed attitude, emphasized by the use of refined fabrics and bright colours, straw and rope, and on the other a minimalist elegance, as in the novelties of the Sirena Group. The focus is on the construction, the curved heel and the square-shaped toe, while the lines are simplified, in search of the essential and the detail that distinguishes.

Through a powerful filter, the new Furla collection re-edits in a contemporary key what is part of the collective imagination, injecting the ‘Joie de vivre’, which has always characterized the brand and makes it unique and unmistakable.

FORMAL COLLECTION

FURLA 1927

The Furla 1927 hardware embellishment has been inspired by the “arch” shape of Fondazione Furla architecture, which has been translated into a sleek metallic ornament, enhancing bags and shoes with a pure aesthetic design.

The convertible loafer is embellished by the Arch signature and can be used as a moccasin or as a mule by folding the back of the shoe.

o “Convertible” function, thanks to the soft heel which can be folded and used as a mule

o Arch hardware on the front with light gold finishing in the Capra Lux & Split Suede. A specific craftmanship is used when the hardware is applied on the piece of leather, which is cut in the center using a hollow cutter machine, creating an empty effect under the logo.

CROSTA – Split cow leather with a textured aspect, but still velvety since it is obtained from the second layer of tanning. The final look is casual and sporty.

CAPRA LUX (black) - Small-sized goat leather with a natural full-grain aspect characterized by a vegetable tanning. This is the most artisanal leather of the collection. The tanning process takes place naturally with mimosa and rosewood. The dyeing takes place in barrels with industrial dyes and a small addition of aniline, without the use of aggressive products. The finishing process is artisanal, therefore absolutely manual: the leathers are ironed, one by one, by hand, under a pendulum machine which, with the oscillation, generates the heat necessary to stretch the leather and develop the particular shine of the grain. Being a vegetable tanning, the use of leather takes on particular chromatic nuances with the passage of time, almost like light-dark brushstrokes made by time. For cleaning, especially that of light colours, we recommend using a simple damp cloth to remove dust and excess dirt. The use of commercial creams is not recommended, because they may contain non-precious waxes, which risk altering the surface of the skin, creating halos. Be careful of exposure to hot lights for prolonged times, as it can alter the original colour of the skin.

FURLA NET

A passion for clean lines and minimalistic design characterizes the styles of the Furla Net line, crafted on a new stacked leather sole with square-shaped toe. These leather sandals are inspired by the essentiality of Greek sandals, revealing between the two layers of leather a soft padded insole that facilitates the fit.

Furla Lipari is a new flat mule sandal with square-shaped toe. The upper is embellished with leather bands that intertwine, creating the double arch Furla personalization.

The Furla Cross line introduces two fresh new styles featuring different heel heights to cover many functions of use, from flat to block heel. Both styles express an architectural approach to design, in which clear-cut lines define the silhouettes, providing an eccentric unusual look.

VERNICE NAPLACK - Bovine base leather, chrome tanned and finished with an acrylic layer which gives the material its characteristic of brilliance and shine. Naplack has a softer touch and is obtained through a dry drum process for a few hours, in order to obtain a less compact and looser surface. The reflection is not mirrored but faceted for a more sophisticated look.

FURLA PIUMA

The Furla Piuma sandal is characterized by softness, stretchy materials and minimalistic design.

Both styles are embellished by a three- dimensional macro bow of padded nappa or raffia, conveying a romantic bold geometry to the outfit.

NAPPA SILK - Full grain nappa leather, aniline tanned. It has a very soft hand and thin thickness, useful for gathered upper constructions or light padding.

TESS. RAFIA CHICCO DI RISO - 51% PA - 49% CO jacquard fabric. Thanks to the intrinsic characteristics of the fabric, any irregularities of the surface are not imperfections but a property.

FURLA MERAVIGLIA

Furla Meraviglia is a new ballet flat espadrillas embellished with a removable gròs grain tape that wrap the ankle and Furla “arch” customization in metal on the back.

Both styles are characterized by a sole covered by Rope and matched with an active treaded white rubber sole.

TESSUTO CANVAS ST.RIGHE - 60% COTTON 40% JUTE jacquard fabric with stripe pattern. Thanks to the intrinsic characteristics of the fabric, any irregularities of the surface are not imperfections but a property.

Furla Joy lace- up winks at streetwear vintage tennis imaginary, with a “Joy”ful colour proposal. This sneaker is enriched by a signuature Arch logo leather application stitched on the sides and by a light gold Furla logo embossed on the side of the heel. The white tongue, sole, laces and heel counter play a graphic game with the colourful upper and remind us of ‘90s London-style Jamiroquai music videos.
