The assessment procedure is carried out by the Danish assessor Vugge til Vugge ApS. As a part of the assessment, inspectors visit our production facilities to evaluate and document the sustainability of our products. The Cradle to Cradle Certified® Product Standard is based on stringent screening requirements, and every step in our process to manufacture aluminium profiles has been thoroughly examined and documented.

Rikke Frost first became well-known when she participated in the TV series “Danmarks næste klassiker” (Denmark’s next classic designs), which was broadcast on DR1 during the spring of 2019. Rikke Frost was named the overall winner with her furniture designed for children, which was created in collaboration with Kjeldtoft Furniture and Flexa.

OUR STORY
1977
furnipart was founded in 1977 by Lars Ole Hansen and has been synonymous with high quality and innovative design ever since.
2007
Quality assurance and quality management become increasingly important. furnipart employs personnel to carry out quality assurance tasks in production and this becomes an important supplement to the quality control that is carried out in Hinnerup, where the company carries out testing in its own laboratory.
2013
furnipart is now a market leader in Northern Europe. Turnover exceeds tens of millions in Euros. furnipart products are sold all over the world through a network of dealers in more than 50 countries.
2022
In March this year, furnipart gets their second Cradle to Cradle certificate. Handles in zamac in the two colours inox and matt black are now certified, which means that 75% of our products are now certified at bronze level.
Founder Lars Ole Hansen executes the planned generational shift as he steps away from the board of directors. Rasmus Byriel, now CEO, assumes ownership and welcomes the private equity fund Blue Equity as co-owner.
