ABOUT PHDESIGN Pacific Hospitality Design, Inc. (“the Company”) is a successful family business that was founded in 1979 and is focused on becoming one of the leading furniture design and manufacturing firms in the industry. Pacific Hospitality Design creates innovative custom contemporary and classic furniture designs for today’s hospitality, restaurant and healthcare markets, as well as for the high- end residential customers. Pacific Hospitality Design carefully monitors the emerging trends in order to respond to the ever- changing demands in both the hospitality and residential markets. To meet the needs of each client, Pacific Hospitality Design will design and build custom furnishings to a client’s exact specifications to create all wood, fully upholstered and/or wrought iron/metal furnishings, as well as bedding, window treatments and soft-goods. With manufacturing facilities in Mexico and Commerce, California Pacific Hospitality Design’s extensive multifaceted capabilities and skills allow for the reproduction and manufacturing of furniture from a simple drawing, picture or sketch. – the possibilities are only limited by the imagination. The objective is to intertwine function and design to produce an aesthetically pleasing design that is well-scaled and comfortable, and that complements the unique ambiance of the property or space for which it has been created. While the California-based Company’s strongest market is the West Coast, the Company ships products nationwide. The Company maintains a solid national network of independent representatives. The Company is led by its founder, Gilbert Martinez and his daughter Ana Maria Martinez- Stumpo, who together share a passion and vision for the Company to deliver superior upholstered seating, and furnishings coupled with exceptional customer service. From project management, technology, construction techniques to exceptional design, they are committed to continuously seeking ways to better meet the changing demands of their customers and the market. Gilbert Martinez is an entrepreneurial-minded leader, who founded the company in 1979 to fulfill the local California market need for quality custom furniture. The Company soon established itself within the affluent greater Los Angeles area, as outstanding source for custom contract and hotel furniture. Through more than 34 years in the business, he has developed an in-depth understanding of the industry and its market dynamics. Under Mr. Martinez’s strong leadership, Pacific Hospitality Design has strategically grown and now has a solid nationwide network of distribution. Ms. Martinez-Stumpo holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and furniture designer by trade, and is a highly creative and accomplished furniture designer with over 18 years of experience designing for the Company. She has been involved with all aspects of management of the Company from design concept, development, manufacturing, production, and quality control, to research and development. She is highly skilled in project management and a strong team builder with expertise in efficiently coordinating resources which is so necessary for managing successful projects.

THE EXECUTIVE TEAM Gilbert Martinez is the founder of Pacific Hospitality Design, Inc., which began in 1979 initially as Pacific Enterprises and changed to its current name in 1996. The 60-year-old Gilbert comes from a rancher family in Sonora, Mexico, where they raised cattle. At the age of 19, Gilbert immigrated to the United States and started in the furniture making business, working sideby-side with the owner. Just two years later, Gilbert was able to start his own business at the age of 21. He began by refurbishing existing pieces, but quickly progressed to building commissioned furniture and décor for clients. Some of his early projects were re-upholstering yachts in Marina Del Rey, CA. Gilbert was so passionate and talented the yacht owners asked him to do projects for their homes and businesses, which included hotels, leading to his involvement in hospitality. Many of Gilbert’s projects involved the public arena, including the casino at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. He and the Pacific Hospitality Design team upholstered thousands of yards of wall and draped ceiling treatments throughout the casino area of the luxurious hotel. Pacific Hospitality Design, Inc. has become a recognized leader in full house product design, development and manufacturing of furniture and décor since opening its doors in 1979. In 2011, Pacific Hospitality Design, Inc. became the first U.S. custom furniture and furnishings manufacturer to receive the coveted “Made In USA” Certification. Today, Gilbert co-owns Pacific Hospitality Design, Inc. with his daughter Ana-Maria Martinez Stumpo.

THE EXECUTIVE TEAM As a child, Ana Maria Martinez-Stumpo would spend quality time with her father by helping with his furniture manufacturing company. She was delighted to be taken along project installations to exciting places like the Bellagio in Las Vegas. What began as a fun after-school activity evolved into a passion for quality craftsmanship and unique furniture and interior/ exterior space design. By the age of 19, Ana Maria was ready to make this into a true family business and join her father as a co-owner in what is now Pacific Hospitality Design, Inc. Currently the Vice-President/Furniture Designer, Ana Maria now has more than 18 years of experience in the furniture manufacturing industry ranging from design concept, manufacturing, production and quality control to research and development. She is responsible for the creation of the company’s award-winning, sustainable-furniture line Verde’ and fully-upholstered, outdoor line X.terra. Ana Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in Interior Architectural Design, is an active member of ASID, USGBC, The Furniture Society, AHLA and has served as a board member for more than five years for NEWH Los Angeles Chapter. She has volunteered through the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandise Chairing Styles Program and enjoys mentoring and educating students as a guest speaker in career development classes at local Interior Design colleges and universities. She’s also a contributing writer for Bask, a luxury lifestyle magazine, has been selected multiple times as an interior designer for the Philharmonic House of Design, currently a designer showcasing at the prestigious 2015 Pasadena Showcase House of Design and has been a guest on an HGTV Design Show as we as a 2014 Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Alumni. visit us at www.phdesign.com
