BOYS COLLEGE PREP Drew Woolworth

Class of 2026

Coming down from Oregon to play in the 15th Annual FCG Western States almost felt like it was summer after a hard cold and wet winter at home. Taking full advantage of the calm conditions of both the weather and course, Drew posted a first round -5, 67. But even with going low, he still found himself 1-stroke back of fellow Oregonian Jake Rodgers. Going into the second round, he knew he couldn’t let up at all. Posting a -6, 66, Drew managed to take a one shot lead heading into the final round. He hung on shooting another -5, 67 to end up taking the championship by 3-strokes. Firing off -16 in three days, earns Drew the right to be named February’s FCG Player of the Month.

GIRLS COLLEGE PREP Anna Song

Class of 2025

The FCG National Tour Temecula Championship was only the second full event for the Girls College Prep division in 2023. With the unsettling weather that hit and miss on the west coast in January and February, Anna played with more “hit” than “miss”. Shooting a -1, 71 in the first round was good enough for to take the overnight lead by one stroke. With scores tight at the top, she went into the second round knowing she would need to play like she did in the previous round if not better. And better she did. Anna started the second round at +1 in her first six holes. Then it hit… birdies on 7, 8 and 9 to make the turn at 34, 2 under on the front. She never looked back at that point. Finishing off her final round with another birdie on the back, Anna posted a -3, 69. Giving her a 2-day total 140, -4 for the tournament. Six strokes better than the runner-up, she secured her championship. Anna’s consistent dominant win, earns her the right to claim the title of the February FCG Player of the Month.
