I look to Tia Frida for self-love inspiration. For much of my life, I was taught that adoring yourself is vain, that self-love is a negative trait that one should not embody. But as a woman of color on this planet, I believe loving yourself is SURVIVAL. It is vital for us to stare into our own eyes, study the stories of our faces and bodies, and try with all of our might to not only embrace, but worship what we see.
