Fabrics with history
In Autumn 2023, Güell Lamadrid will present collections made with high-quality and trendy fabrics, whilst maintaining the brand’s characteristic eclectic style. These are Fabrics with History, inspired by different cultures and textile traditions from around the world.
The main collection is inspired by the journeys of ancient nomads and travellers who, during their endless pilgrimage, introduced trends from the East to the West: The Silk Road and the East India Company are the protagonists. This collection features multiple designs which feature combinations of all of them in bold colours.
You can also discover the 60’s through our Birkin collection, characterised by bold and daring designs, bright colours, and geometric prints.
We care about the world’s sustainability, so we continue to incorporate fabrics made from recycled fibres into our brand, an initiative that started a few years ago and that will continue forever. This year, we are presenting three collections as part of our Sustainable Fabrics label, featuring our Flow collection, which is stain-resistant and boasts a wide range of fun colours.
Nomad Collection
The Silk Road was not only a trade route, but also an exchange of culture and ideas. Along the routes there was a constant flow of knowledge, skills, and materials between different regions, contributing to the development of civilisations.
Inspired by the Silk Road, we created our main collection, Nomad, which includes ethnic printed fabrics, plain and semi plain jacquards, in a wide variety of vibrant colours that can be easily combined with each other.
You are invited to explore and immerse yourself in the ancient pilgrimage of traders and intellectuals, travelling through desert landscapes, seascapes, and oases along the way.
