The children were very excited about the topic covered (black holes, supernova, exoplanets) and had a lot of questions still to be answered. Appeared that they would follow up the subjects in the future.

the workshop at UNIZULU was aimed at presenting the practical part of the AstroVARSITY project to potential lecturers and tutors as well as discussing ways of implementing it into the curriculum. The idea was to present them the instruments (telescope + photometer), their basic working principle and how to use them. We also planned to give them an overview of potential projects that can be done with it, in terms of practicals and small research projects as well as potential in terms of education and public outreach.
