City of Music, Venice interland Nova Marghera
Team: Freelance Type: Architectural survey, interior designer with BBV architects Year: 2016
Nova Marghera is a company of the interland of Venice whose business includes development, renting, buying, selling, and appraising real estate. The project itself aims to renew an old warehouse of fertilizing products, 11.600mq(124.861sf), that was an example of a concrete industrial archeology of the 1940s. The idea was shaped out to create a modern pole for music production, multimedia services and meeting point for people with shops, a theather and many other activities. The building undergo a structural renovation in 2012, after that works stopped for 6 years and the site needed a new survey to proceed with the second phase of the project.

Capo Muro di Porco lighthouse
Team: G. Longhi, G. Vendrame, M. Manzon Type: Contest Year: 2016 An old lighthouse, a moon-like and bare settling. The aim of the project is to bring places like those back to life, taking into great consideration
their
inner
characteristics.
Capo Muro di Porco represents an appealing and polyfunctional center within an imaginary maritime connection system, which links to several interesting places as Catania and Pozzallo (Malta), the archeological park in Syracuse, the vineyard of Avola, Marzamemi and Pachino and the streams island of Portopalo di Capopassero. In order to emphasize the importance of the connection between the sea and the coasts, it has been decided

The garden is now open to the public after years of neglect and was developed and designed as social experiment. It is now a pole of attraction for

surrounding
community.
The technical questions I tried to solve were both to guarantee the accessibility for all, old people, kids, disabled persons, and to prevent the plant boxes from getting too much salt water during the high tide season in Venice.
