A Message from the President Team, As we reach the heart of the holiday season, I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a Happy Holidays. This past year has been one of the most successful years that I have ever experienced at G4S. We have reached incredible highs, impressively overcoming the obstacles that the year brought and without the work of our teams across the region, that success would not have been possible. In October, our teams along the east coast bravely prepared for yet another hurricane, as Hurricane Dorian peppered the coast from Florida up through the Carolinas with rain and damaging winds. Before, during and well after the storm, our teams not only in the local region but from across the country stepped up to provide exceptional service to our clients and to G4S employees who were impacted by the storm. I am disappointed that responding to hurricanes is becoming a yearly event, but I am nonetheless incredibly proud and grateful for the work that everyone did to help us, our clients and our employees make it through the season. It was also our honor this summer to recognize Jared Drahman as the 2018 G4S Security Officer of the Year. Jared’s bravery and selflessness in putting himself in harm’s way during an active shooter scenario to save others was a touching story, and we were all proud to recognize Jared in Jupiter for his efforts. While Jared was named the Security Officer of the Year, that does not mean that there weren’t incredible feats accomplished by employees throughout the country. From delivering babies, saving people from burning buildings and providing life-saving care, as well as every single security officer who did their jobs day in and day out, thank you for your work. You are the backbone of our company, and while I may have said this before, I truly mean that we would not be the company we are today if it weren’t for you. I hope you all have an opportunity to spend time with your family and friends this holiday season, and to those standing post, thank you for your continued efforts. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Drew Levine

G4S All Stars Louis Evans and Catalina Oseguera Help Police Detain Suspect CALIFORNIA — G4S Security Officers are trained to provide security for customers across the country, but this training is also extremely valuable in any situation. G4S’ Louis Evans and Catalina Oseguera put their training to use when they came across a local sheriff deputy involved in an altercation with a male suspect. The officer was attempting to place the man under arrest, but without officer assistance was struggling to do so. Evans immediately pulled the patrol car over and, with the assistance of Oseguera, was able to provide aid to the deputy to subdue the man before he was arrested by local authorities. Left to right: Louis Evans, Catalina Oseguera

Great work by both Louis and Catalina in helping the deputy!

G4S Team Participates in Active Shooter Drill CALIFORNIA — Being prepared for a potential event is vital in providing exceptional security if the event ever takes place. In October, the G4S team in California assisted local authorities in an active shooter drill. The drill included airlifting participants to the hospital to simulate the response to an active shooter event. The hospital stayed open to emergencies the entire time, with patients, guests and visitors all entering the hospital, as well as participants. The team helped coordinate and plan the drill, while managing the triage areas used for the event and ensuring that the hospital and patients didn’t experience any disruptions in security or emergency service. Left to right: Eric Hose, Antonio Plascencia, Richard Jenkins, Eric Valoff, Emmanuel Arista, Bertha Uribe, Dominic Caminiti.

Congratulations to the entire team on their great work!

Jason Griffin Keeps Client and Customers Safe CALIFORNIA — G4S security personnel need to be prepared for anything, even if it’s before their post begins. G4S’ Jason Griffin was standing outside a customer facility just minutes before it was set to open, along with several customers, when a man approached the entrance. He carried two soda bottles and a knife and began waving the knife in the air, yelling profanities. As soon as Jason saw the knife, he told the customers to get back before knocking on the door to have someone from inside let them in as the door was locked. As soon as he got everyone inside, Jason radioed for police, who arrived and took the man into custody. G4S BPO Jason Griffin

Great work by Jason in keeping the customers and the facility safe!

G4S Safety Moments

December Safety Moments Safety Resolutions

The annual tradition at the beginning of every year for many is to make a New Year’s Resolution. Whether it is to focus on eating healthier, reducing stress, traveling more or saving money, the idea of a resolution is to improve your wellbeing, and this ties into our daily life at both home and work. The G4S Safety team is encouraging you to resolve to improve safety at your workplace, helping to ensure our well-being as well as the well-being of those around us. In an effort to make those resolutions, here are some suggestions: Participate in Safety and Encourage Others • Make suggestions on how we can improve safety within our organization. • Speak up if you see something that is not safe for you or your co-workers. • Ask questions; if you are unsure about a safety matter, ask. • If there is a safety committee at your location or project, get involved. Educate Yourself • Review safety policies or post orders. • If you have the Safety Handbook, keep it with you as a reference. • Complete any safety training for both G4S and our customer.

• •

Avoid Distractions • Focus on the task at hand. • Do not use a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle, or simply walking down the stairs. • Proper nutrition is essential to cognition; focus on foods that feed your mind and your body. • There are many resolutions you can make for 2019, both at home and work; the key is to stay focused and not abandon them.
