Community Information and Amenities
When are the nearest fitness classes held and where?
Sunstone FIT and Club Pilates are nearby and enjoyed by residents. Feel free to look them up for class schedules and locations. Water Street also provides two fitness centers located in Building 1 & Building 3.
What are the hours of the amenities?
• The Fitness Centers are open 24 hours a day.
• The Pool is open from 10am to 10pm.
• The Lake Side Terrace in building 3 is open from 8am to 10pm.
• The Club Room, Business Center/Conference Room & Game Room are open from 9am until 11pm.
How do I reserve the club room?
The clubhouse area is available to reserve for your personal parties and celebrations. A reservation fee of $500 applies as well as agreeing to the Amenity Policies Contract. To reserve an area and complete details, please contact our office team
Where do I dispose of my trash?
Water Street provides a door-to-door trash service on Sunday through Thursday evenings. Trash must be bagged, tied, and placed in the Waste Away container provided and put outside your door by 7:30pm, and brought back in by 8am the next morning.
Where are the recycling centers?
We pride ourselves on green initiatives to care for the environment. Our valet recycle company services the building Sunday – Thursday for all items left in blue recycling bags Thank you for helping us to take care of the earth.
What do I do with my move in boxes?
It is helpful if everyone breaks down all boxes and disposes of them in the trash compactor room.
How does my key fob work?
When entering through the drive-up garage gate, you may use your key fob, toll-tag (if compatible), or purchase an eGo sticker reader from the office. For all other areas, including your apartment home, simply swipe your SALTO fob over the black boxes mounted near the doorways to gain entry.

Where are the mailboxes located?
• Building 1 Mailbox is located on the 1st Floor next to the skywalk entrance
• Building 3 Mailbox is located on the 1st Floor next to Fitness Center
Do you have resident activities or events?
Gables Water Street has many fun events and activities that promote a sense of community and allow an opportunity for you to meet other residents. You can keep up to date on all our community gatherings through our fliers, emails, and Facebook page. Expect to see events such as resident appreciation day, weekend brunch, breakfast on the go, holiday parties, and a variety of other events.
Can I have a party at the pool?
Our relaxing pool area is available for all residents and their guests (no more than 2 per home) to enjoy during pool hours. To ensure enjoyment for all residents at the pool, we regretfully do not permit private pool parties.
Where is the best place for me to park?
You may park in any open, non-labeled parking space in the resident parking garage. Reserved spots are available for monthly rent through the leasing office. We also offer EV charging in the parking garage. As a reminder, handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is subject to maximum parking violation penalty.

How do I pay rent online?
Please use Rent Café to pay rent online. You will go to http://www.gables.com and click on the Resident Login in the upper right-hand corner. Select the link to set up your Rent Café account. This is a great way to stay connected to your management team from anywhere in the world. Additional services available on Rent Café include placing a service request for repairs needed in your apartment home.
How do I reserve the freight elevator?
You may contact your leasing professional at (972) 910-8343 and we will walk you through the reservation process. The freight elevator is available:
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm
• Wednesday 9:00am – 7:00pm
• Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm
Gables Water Street
There is a 2-hour limit for elevator time allocated for moving and a reservation is necessary to ensure that each resident has ample time to move.
Where can I access WI-FI in the building?
The 1st floor amenity lounge and outdoor pool area are WI-FI accessible for your use and convenience. This amenity is complimentary and part of your community benefits.
Do you have a courtesy officer onsite and how do I get a hold of them?
If you need assistance, please contact our Courtesy Patrol Officer at 972-910-8343 and follow the prompts.
Guests
Where can my guests park?
Guests may park in the upper-level garage (uncovered) and use the callbox to enter the garage by calling you. As a reminder, please ask your guests to park in spaces that are not marked as reserved and uncovered. Remember that handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is subject to maximum parking violation penalty.
Where do my movers park?
In the interest and safety for proper clearance for other residents and emergency vehicles, your movers must schedule a time slot to park in our loading dock, located between building 1 and building 2. The freight elevator needs to be reserved as well in advance. We allow up to a 2-hour window for alley access/exclusive freight elevator use.
Where does the delivery person come in or do I have to meet them?
Delivery people will need to contact you regarding delivery arrangements. Packages will be delivered to the Parcel Lockers and oversized packages may be delivered to your home. If you have visitors, please feel free to call the office at (972) 910-8343 to allow visitor access into the building. You may also allow access to a visitor when you are not here by signing a key release at the office. However, keys can only be accessed during business hours; and all keys must be returned to the office by 5pm every day.
How many guests can I have with me at the amenities?
We love it when you share your community with your friends and family. Two guests per home are welcome to join you in all the amenity areas.

How do I submit service requests?
We want placing a service request for work needed in your apartment home easy. You may place a service request in person, through Rent Café, or the Gables Resident App.
What do I do if I have a Maintenance emergency after hours?
For those times that you may have an emergency after office hours, you may contact the leasing office at (972) 910-8343 for maintenance assistance. The answering service will dispatch your service emergency to the on- hour.
What is considered a maintenance emergency?
Fire Water entering the apartment; Running water that cannot be shut off; Nonfunctioning or malfunctioning smoke detector; Gas leak (also call the gas company); Broken or non-working doors, locks or windows; No heat in winter; No air conditioning on a day of extreme heat (80+ degrees) (AC work cannot be completed at night or in inclement weather); No water; Toilet not functioning (when it is the only one in the apartment); No electricity or electrical shorts; Refrigerator not working such that food would spoil; Exterior lighting not working; Inoperable Access Gates; Flooding on the community; Sewer back-up; Broken/leaking waterline; Any physical damage to the community.
Furry Friends
Do you have a dog park?
There is not a designated dog park, but our furry friends have plenty of green space to enjoy. Doggie bag stations are located at various locations throughout Water Street. The nearest dog park is Paws Colinas 1.2 miles away located at 1300 California Crossing Rd.
Where is the best place to walk my pet?
The green areas around the property are appropriate to walk your pets. Please help us to maintain a clean and pleasant community by always picking up after your pets. There are many doggie stations surrounding the community. Pet stations are located on the perimeter of the community.
Do you have a dog wash area?
Currently, we do not have a dog wash area.

Do you host Yappy Hours?
You are not the only resident that likes to mingle… Your pet has the opportunity to socialize during our Yappy Hours that are held. Treat your dog to a night out! Keep an eye out for our emails regarding all things fun here at Water Street!
Do I have to have my dog on a leash?
For the safety of your dog and all residents in the community, all pets are required to be on a leash when in any common area. It’s the law and the best practice for your pet’s safety. The nearest dog park is 7.2 miles from our community located at 4140 Valley View Lane, Irving, TX 75038

How to Set Up AutoPay on Rent Cafe
We’re excited to announce that we ’ re now able to offer autopay set-up for your monthly rent. We look forward to better serving you and hope this payment option will be a beneficial and convenient service for you.
1.) LOG INTO RENT CAFE
Log into your rent cafe similar to how you would to pay your rent.
2.) SELECT AUTOPAY SET UP
When you log in you will arrive at your home page. Select the Auto-pay Set Up tab.
3.) ENTER PAYMENT, START, AND END DATE
Select the Payment Account for your auto-pay. Then enter the date you would like the auto-pay to start and end.
4.) ENTER PAY DATE, PERCENTAGE AND MAX PAY
Select the day the payment will draft for payment. Then enter 100% in the Percentage. Next, enter in the Max Pay Amount. This amount will be the max that will pull from your bank. Keep in mind the average monthly charge will only show your rent and NOT water. It is recommended to do a max pay more than what you pay on average for rent and water The auto-pay will only draft what is due if your max pay is higher than what is owed
5.) HOW TO KNOW WHAT TO ENTER FOR MAX PAY
Unsure of what to enter for the Max Pay? Select Recent Activity to view your previous payments. If your average payment is $2000 then it is recommend to do the max pay as $2300 for good measure. Please note if the max pay is set up for less than what is owed the auto-pay will not be able to draft from the bank. For example, if your max pay is set at $2000, but you owe $2030 the auto-pay will not draft from the bank.
