Sophisticated yet fun, simple yet elegant, playful yet classy. A space that will enhance and emphasize Kate Spade’s chic, bold and versatile style.
The project calls for the design of a commercial retail space for Kate Spade New York.
Divided into three main zones, this design creates an interactive environment that integrates the concept of shopping experience and the illusion of playing dress up.
St. John Town Center
The second and third zones are partition walls that show more of a complete outfit display, including apparel, shoes, purses, accessories and jewlery. Both of this zones create a closet environment, giving the custumers a more private setting while overcoming the idea of playing dress up.
The design seeks to inspire and to celebrate the unique branding of Kate Spade products through comprehensive lifestyle image. It is

The design proposed intends to appreciate , highlitg, and applaud the style of this particular and alluring brand by creating and interior space that will fill the users with several experiences that personify the inspirational lifestyle that the brands embodies. Daydream will evince the fantasy of the beautiful designs and products presented by Kate Spade while giving the costumers a space where they can, not only, shop for clothes and accesories, but get inspired. A space that will, along with the products, make them feel comfortable, giving them a sense of belonging.
Cream Color Paint travels thoughout the entire space. it keeps the design simple , classy and elegant.
Glass is present in the store in the form of shelves and walls. It gives the design a sense aery sensibility.
Blac ceremic tile is used in the floor to portray one of kate spade’s most known patterns:black and white Ceramic Tile

The first zone holds in the display of purses, bags and wallets. A wall to ceiling feature guides the users eye’s directly to the main display and most important products of the season.
The space will be redesigned in terms of interior division, display, casework, and shelving. Furthermore, the project provides the opportunity to redesign the entire outward appearance. All of which will meet the client’s need and the facility interiors retail program. The context of the project engages the designer to address the retail space at its streetscape corner condition.

Primary Display
Design Concept:
Located at the prominent St. John Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida, the proposal solicits the creation of an interior environment that will show case, represent and embellish the distinctive and unique fashion style of kate spade NEW YORK. The store will be surrounded by multiple high-end retail companies. Tiffany & Co. and Louis Vuitton are closest to the site. It will also be surrounded by important department stores, Nordstrom being the closest, to the current project.
