Gira Mundo is a super important local project as it works with Brazilian kids and the values they are going to build for life. You will be working with delivering workshops to kids on Brazilian public schools or NGOs, simply helping them to understand and gain awareness on topics such as: Multiculturalism, Human Rights, Social Responsibility and Environment issues. The interns will work in trios, and you need be very creative. It will take you proactivity and to be ready to adapt yourself to different types of situations, working conditions and environment. The specific lessons will be planned in advance and must be interesting or interactive to engage the public.
Realization in three periods: December 6 (690366) January 5 (690368) February 15 (710245)
> Multiculturalism: Tell the children about your culture, country and continent, present your language to the kids and teens and be ready to hear more about Brazil and it’s magical culture from themselves! > Human Rights: Teach the kids about human rights and empower them to make their own choices in life! Also, teach them about minorities and violation of human rights. >Social Responsibility: Teach children about society, staying on topics regarding citzenship and culture, and showing what you believe is good or bad in your country's society. > Environment issues: Show children the main ways to bring a better tomorrow for ourselves and our planet, talking about environmental changes (as Global Warming and Pollution), and the best ways to treat said change. Besides that, you can talk about how the protection of nature works in your country, and what do you think should be applied to make it better.
Smarketing Project In SMarketing Project you're going to work in the marketing part of the NGO. You're going to help them to have more visibility in Florian贸polis. The NGOs have the purpose of helping others and making the world better, but they need to sustain themselves so they can keep doing their work. With your help, more people will know their work and will help them with donations and volunteers. When you arrive here, we're going to do a reunion in the NGO to see with what exactly you're going to work. There are three possibilities to become the objective: digital marketing, fundraising events and partnership.

Driblando Project Realization February 15 (711738)
Driblando means Dribbling in portuguese and that’s why the Driblando project is all about using sport as a tool to pass on values to children. You will be working with kids on Brazilian public schools, helping them to understand and gain awareness on topics such as: diversity, tolerance, healthy life, social responsibility, leadership and teamwork. Brazilian kids loves foreigners and are very welcoming, you’ll become a roll model for them!
On weekdays during the 6 weeks of the program you will be attending a public school and your activities will be replacing physical education classes. Your other responsibilities along with the other 2 interns that will be working with you will be, along with working between 15 and 20 hours per week, planning the classes, participating on all activities planned by the Local Committee (that include Global Villages, where you will present your country, so bring cool stuff!), and finally plan and organize, together with the youth and your team, a final sport event to happen in the last week of the project.
