PRODUCTIVE ARCHITECTURE
Alternative forms of architecture for urban agriculture and community building.

Architecture comprises 3 out of 4 basic needs for survival: shelter, water and fire ( energy ). The 4th remaining necessity, Food is usually left outside the architectural sphere. In the context of nowadays, humanity is struggling to feed and to host current population. New solutions of how we produce food and how we live are necessary.
This thesis places and recognizes the food as the fourth element under the architecture sphere’s umbrella next to the other 3 above mentioned and it proposes that agriculture should harmonize with architecture through technologies and design in order to provide new and in the same time alternative - continuous food producing-spaces, strategies / food stocks to be able to sustain urban life.

Lersø Park Alle Copenhagen
The new circular 10 storey building acts as a corner landmark adding special character to the area.
The building will accomodate 76 youth houses and common living areas on the ground floor.
ME in the project
I worked on design development including layout proposal, progressive udpate + modifications. Also, I was deeply involved in the technical part including facade technical solution, wet room drawings, technical floor plans + facades+ sections.

A project that proposes reversible solutions, that rethinks the potential of materials and construction techniques.
A building that aims to give something back in terms of architectural quality and in terms of environment. This, to ensure an exchange with the site and with the nature.

ME in the project
I am fully in charge of this project including: meetings with the client ( developing the proposal based on constructive dialog and trust ), I am the key player between ingineering office and production office correlating all the work: architecture drawings and BIM with BIM structure ( engineers ) + BIM production. I am also decision maker together with engineers, developing the technical construction details + I am responsable of producing all the drawings.

The new building and garden is developed to have under its envelope a number of 8 senior apartments.
The architecture frame of this modern and contemporary town villa is inspired from the classical Frederiksberg buildings. The local area is characterized by being composed of large villas, storey buildings with charming courtyards and garden houses.
ME in the project:
I worked in outline proposal phase in order to develop de design and layout of the building. I developed the technical drawings for the building + I was involved in developing some technical details.

Transformation project. The aims was to renovate and convert the existing layouts into business and coworking spaces.
This modern and flexible workspace has private offices, meeting rooms and single workstations.
ME in the project:
I delivered the registration phase + survey of the building. I also made some analysis + hypothesis of structural versus non load bearing interior walls.
I also worked to develop the new layout proposal in order to fulfill the client’s demands.
