The target audience of the product was young people, who need to remain active throughout the day (and night), but want to pursue a healthy lifestyle, as well.

Solution: A clean logo and an appealing, natural-looking packaging. The design can also be easily adjusted when the brand launches new flavors.

Description:

Challenge: My task was to create Illustrations for the ProMES website. The site needed to contain 5 illustrations for the 5 main menus (a, ProMES; b, 100 Days; c, Competence; d, Practise; e, Science) and a permanent header image for each topic, which helped easy navigation on the website. In addition I had to design some illustrations and sketchy mindmaps for the subsites.

Solution

Details

I wanted to fill this clean and elegant framework with some lively illustrations and thus bring the viewer closer to the topic. The colourful, fresh and playful illustrations are in good contrast with this professional website.

The header always marks our position on the site, each main menu has a constant pattern, the same for its every submenu. The pattern is in every case based on the main illustration. I

Promes Movie // BlackBox/Open

Description: After successfully presenting the website to the ProMES experts on a Swedish conference, we started to plan a few-mintute-long ProMES introduction movie.

Challenge: The style of the movie had to match the style of the website. The content had to clearly reflect the concept of this system and also work as an advertising element for the 100 days trial.

Solution: A 3-minute long Flash video. The idea and the concept of the story was created by a small team. The character and background elements as well as the animation was designed by me.

XMAs Cards A, SpielBank Two versions of a Christmas card designed for the casino chain in Stuttgart, Baden-Baden and Konstanz. The motifs were inspired by the French card symbols, which also appear in the corporate identity of the casino, but in a slightly different manner. The second option with the star symbols was the client’s choice.

B, BlackBox/Open A postcard designed for the BlackBox/Open agency I have been working at the time. I have painted the illustration in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet. The card’s purpose was corporate correspondence with clients near Christmas time.

Seven Hectare Wine Label Competition Description: This concept was created for the Hungarian “Cégér” wine label contest in 2012.

Challenge: Designing a label for a white, fruity, young wine. The name “Hét Hektár” (Seven Hectares).

Solution: The concept is based on the region of Balatonszõlõs, where the wine is produced. I depicted the landscape with seven sunlit hills and symbolic water stripes. The design is based on the style of Hungarian folktales, since 7 is a special number, often appearing as a magic number in the Hungarian folk tales.

Egidienberg Logo Design // BlackBox/Open Description: Logo design created for a district association in the town of Nuremberg, Germany. This part of the city includes the church of St. Egidienberg.

Challenge: The task was to design a clever, protective raven, who looks over Egidienberg. “Berg means mountain, referring to the location and hilly landscape of this part of the city.

Solution: A crystal-like, geometric shaped raven. Thanks to its unique, easily recognizable silhouette, the raven can be applied in several various versions.

Location

Work Process

The photos on the left were taken by me in the Egidienberg area. The first one shows the snowy front view of St. Egidienberg Church. The logo was intended for the use of this church and the nearby area.

I created several versions of the raven logo. First a naturalistic silhouette, then an abstract, triangle grid based form. The third step, the crystal raven, is based on the previous two variations.

Eden’s Specialties Description: Fictive company name, logo and package design for a firm that produces organic products, like honey, jam, chocolate and tee.

Challenge: Making up a corporate identity and package design that matches the profile of an organic product store.

Solution: A firm identity that refers to the fruits of paradise, thus being close to nature. An apple shaped, very fine logo. I intended to design a unique and naturalistic look, with a nature-conscious aspect. My solution is printing with only black and differentiating the flavours with handmade patterns. As printable surface recycled paper would be the ideal choice.

Mare Nostrum PosteR Exhibition // Schwerin Description: The poster was designed by me for a German poster competition. Its topic was “mare nostrum”, meaning “our sea” in New Latin.

Challenge: The poster competition’s purpose was to arise attention around the pollution of our waters.

Solution: The poster refers to the huge amount of waste humanity produces. This is an elegant way of showing that trash does not simply vanish, but in most cases lands in the sea, thus finally getting into our food chain.

Citykirche

Jan-Feb 2013

Magazine Cover // BlackBox/Open Description:

Solution:

Citykirche is a magazine published in every 2 months, and lead by 4 churches of Nuremberg: St. Egidien, St. Jakob, St. Lorenz and St.Sebald.

For the first cover I chose a typographical solution and embedded the text in a curved star. Originally my plan was to print this image with luminescent ink. On the second cover I used different shades of blue combined with the images of the 4 churches.

Challenge: My task was to design the title picture of two winter issues. (The header is a permanent element of magazine). The topic of the Christmas magazine was: “Dem Stern folgen”, which means “to follow the star”. The next topic was “Die blaue Nacht”, the blue night, which refers to a cultural event.

Nov-Dec 2012

Magazine Layout I have also worked on the inner layout of the magazine. The image above shows a site adressed to children, and the Christmas double page. Another task was this special Advent numbering on the left, which was used to mark the different articles of the magazine. I carefully planned these numbers to match the cover design in a coherent way.

Cover Series Description

Solution

This was a fictive, tipography task. The goal was creating a homogene looking book cover series for Nobel Award winner writers and their books.

I picked some interesting, topic-related motifs, and filled them with colorful letters. This concept shows a similar look, but the different books are also recognizable.

Chameleon Game Descripton A short click-by-click Flash game concept, featuring a chameleon as the main hero.

Challenge This concept was started for a competition by our threemen-team. It unfortunately was never completed and stayed on the level of an interesting idea and a few images.
