Followed by starting to learn how to analyze sites, make concepts, and make designs. And end with a final design. Everything is summarized in this portfolio. By: Gabriella Tiara

INTRODUCTION

LIGHT AND CHILDERN

In this kindergarten, there were several skylights. This skylight had several functions that aim to interact with the children who attend school. The light in the hallway served to reinforce the transition from public to private areas. In the hallway as a place of transition, children part with their parents to learn independently. In the classroom, there were skylights that aim for the entry of natural light into the classroom and the interaction of light with the young child.

The shape of the kindergarten was taken from telescopic abstraction. The way the telescopic works is from something far reflected in the mirror to produce a focal point. A school is a place for children to learn and socialize. The teacher is the person who will guide the children while in school and the introduction of extensive knowledge is focused on the material so that the child can understand the lessons of the material. The kindergarten was divided into 3 floors. The first and second floors were public areas. The first floor used as a place for drop-offs and parks. On the second floor, there was a waiting room/canteen, meeting room, and an administration room. On the third floor was a private area, because of only children and teachers. This level difference aims to transition children to learn independently or away from their parents.

Site Plan

Ergonometri In this project, four activities were combined. There had wall climbing, yoga, ikebana, and playing the violin. These four activities had different needs. The locations for these four activities were in a natural and steep open area. The building design for these four activities was made organic to respond to activities and the environment. Laying activities in buildings tailored to the needs of light and focus. In the violin playing activity at an altitude of 5.10m and became the first place when entering. This aims to get more sunlight, so the room became drier. Ikebana's room was at an altitude of 3.10m. This room was positioned in a shaded area to avoid the sun. For Yoga activities, the room located at the bottom and closed to nature. So, we would feel calmer in the room. On facades' building was used for walk climbing activities which became the fourth unit of activities. The facade was formed from basic movements and angles that were just right to walk climbing.

AERODINAMIK

The building was making vertikal.

There had open space in the middle. It was for a place of re-creation and urban farming.

The mass of the building was adjusted in such way to turn the wind, so that the building does not resist the wind pressure.

KORIDOR HOTEL

This platform had a hotel, restaurants, retail, and a casino. which can accommodate 500 people. The location of this building is in the middle of the sea, so it became a challenge in designing appropriate forms of construction and the right platform to accommodate the existing load. The shape of an organic building was one of the alternatives for breaking wind pressure.

Site Plan Blok M

At Terminal Blok-M, there are two activities. At the top, there is a terminal and the bottom there is a mall. This terminal is not functioning properly. In places where buses get on and off is not used. Passengers get off at the entrance of the terminal and ride at the entrance and exit of the Terminal. Busway users choose to exit the terminal by jumping down. The existence of terminals and transit points, the emergence of street vendors and motorcycle taxi drivers which aim to meet the needs in the area. The location of the park and motorcycle taxi are not arranged so that the area becomes dirty and unorganized. In this project, there are several solutions to problems in the Blok-M terminal: - There is a crossing bridge connecting the terminal Blok-M with the MRT, - The arrangement of parks and street vendors, - Expanding pedestrian lines that connect the crowd points, - Addition of programs to meet the needs of visitors.

ANALYSIS BLOK M One of the MRT stations will be established in the Blok M area. It will be completed and can be used in 2018. The system implemented around each MRT station is the Transit-Oriented Development system (TOD system). This system applies pedestrians over transportation. Changes that occur around the Jakarta MRT station in Blok M: - In the TOD area, pedestrian areas will be widened (people-oriented), car roads will be diverted. - Parking lots will be made outside the TOD zone (outside the 700-meter radius). - When the project is finished, the busway on the Corridor 1 route will be led. Besides, to the west of Blok M, there is a Sentraya tower, to be precise next to Pasar Raya Blok M and is a tower with several kinds of functions (mix-use). Its functions include offices, retail, function rooms, sky garden, banks, ATMs, restaurants, bars, cafes, canteens, food courts, and helipads.

BLOCK M MIX- USE BLUIDING Projects located in Blok M Terminal had additional programs. There were hotel, cinemas and food courts. These three programs aim to accommodate the changes in activities that will occur in the area. The Blok-M area would become crowded, due to satisfy public transport facilities. This design concept was interlocking activities. Interlocking had occurred in Terminal dan Mall Blok-M. Between hotels, malls, and bus terminals were interconnected, this aim to facilitate visitors. In this project, the bus terminal was moved to the basement. This was to facilitate the user and facilitate the control of activities on the terminal. At the top, there were malls and hotels. In the M-block park reorganized. The pedestrian road was expanded for pedestrian convenience. Pedestrian bridges were made to be interconnected at crowds and to the MRT station. At the bottom of the bridge, there were street vendors and eating areas. Potongan Hotel

Rencana Masterplan Kecamatan Neglasari

MASTERPLAN NEGLASARI Tangerang is one of the developing industries. One area in the city of Tangerang that is close to an industrial area is in Neglasari sub-district. There is no shelter to accommodate migrants from the village. This caused the village community to build their houses spontaneously. Spontaneous residential development causes urban spatial planning to become disorganized. Besides, residential areas become slums and are not suitable for residents to live in.

Rencana Masterplan Kecamatan Neglasari

In making the Neglasari masterplan centered on development road 3. Development road 3 is one of the accesses to Soekarno-Hatta airport. ROW of development road 3 is now 26m. The width of the Development road 3 contrasts with the width of the Sudirman road (the road leading to the development road) but has the same vehicle intensity. In Tangerang city planning, the road will be widened to the equivalent of the Sudirman road and around the road will become a commercial area. This allows the area around Development road 3 will experience development. Road Development 3 is adjacent to an industrial area. This causes the population density around industrial areas to increase. On the road to Development 3, it takes shelter to meet the needs of the community

RUSUN NEGLASARI COMMUNAL SPACE

These flats, there are two masses. Between the two masses, there was an open space that could be used as open communal space. This laying aimed to avoid the vehicle lane. The two masses had different orientations. On block A, the mass faced the highway and mosque, while block B faced the soccer field and plaza. On the first floor of block A, there is an administration program, a clinic and a multipurpose area. Other mass served as a commercial area, mini markets, stalls, and kiosks that could be accessed by the public and residents of flats. Between the pedestrian road and the first floor, there was a difference of 90 cm, this height difference was aimed at gaining accommodations to the open communal space and people around the open communal space could monitor the situation in the communal space.

On the second floor of the flats passed by the pedestrian bridge. in the building part b, there were commercial areas, kiosks, and stalls, because the area was adjacent to a pedestrian bridge and an intersection with a flat next door. On the bridge, there was access to the residential unit. This bridge was 5 meters above ground level. Between the bridge and the 2nd floor, there was a difference in height of 1 meter. Height difference separated the public into private areas. This apartment used a double-loaded type with 2 types of residential units. Residential 1 was 24m2 in size with a capacity of 2 people and Residential 2 was 38 m2 in size with a capacity of 3 people. In the middle, there was a void whose function was for airflow and incoming light.

The concept of this communal space is making closer. The difference in the floor and the lack of a spacious living room and hallway disturbed the interaction of residents. This communal space is aimed at facilitating residents of low-cost apartments to interact, socialize, and play areas for children. Criteria for closed communal space: - Access to communal spaces is easy to achieve - Freedom of sight - Nature and open space - free circulation

Ruang Komunal Terbuka

COMMUNAL SPACE in RUSUN NEGLASARI

The communal space is in the middle of two flats. The location of this communal space aims to avoid the vehicle lane. The communal space area is divided in two by pedestrian paths from the plaza and soccer fields to the highway. This area can be used by the public and residents of flats. Communal space is divided into two parts. There are active and passive areas. The active area is placed near the posyandu because in that area there will be many children playing. Another area is around commercial and administrative areas, where there is a place to sit to gather.

Ruang Komunal Tertutup COMMUNAL SPACE in RUSUN NEGLASARI

The concept of closed communal space is making closer residents. When residents lived in landed houses, it was easier to meet neighbors and easily interact and gather on the home page. However, when in rusun, what happens is that people have to go down or corridors and stairs to meet other residents. In Rusun Neglasari, on each floor, there is a communal space with seating facilities to gather. Communal spaces with different floors are interconnected with stairs, so residents with different floors can meet other residents.

In Rusun Neglasari, there is a communal space on each floor. The rooftop also can be used as a community communal space. In Block A, the communal space faces the street and the mosque, while Block B, communal room faces the soccer field. On the 3rd floor, there is a bridge. This is access between the two blocks which can only be accessed by residents of the flat. In that area adjacent to the active open communal area, so parents can monitor the state of the playroom below.

At first, we have to photograph several objects in Bali. It was taken as a concept for making abstraction compositions. This photo taken is a neck part of a new statue that is drained by water. The composition in the photo is repetition, rhythm, and flow. The compensation of this composition wants to show a rough surface if it has flowed with water it will give the impression of being slippery, shiny and smooth. In this project, the materials used are wood, iron, and acrylic. The three materials will be composed in a 100x100x60 cm beam frame. This abstraction model illustrates a rough surface that will look smooth-

er or slippery if coated or stacked with clear and smooth objects. The accumulation of 2 different materials will give a different impression. The use of wood and acrylic materials is intended to convey the intention of the photo. Wood depicts a rough and acrylic surface as a coating that will give a glossy appearance. The shape of this model is taken from the nature of water flowing and forming a wave that fluctuates. As Built Drawing - Isometri

shelpark.

There wer several compositions as the basis for making this shelter. The first design process was to integrate the intentions of the composition. The design intentions of this shelter were balance and harmony. Next was to find the location of this shelter placement. This tion was located at a fork in the road, between the two roads are shady trees. In addition, at this location got a broad namely towards building D, building B, and the canteen. this

was often passed by people and gathering places for small talk. The intentions of this design were contrast and balance. The difference in the material on the two benches emphasized the intensity of the contrast. The design was tailored to the ergonometric and comfort of sitting people. For the covering or roof, we used two materials, wood and acrylic. Both materials were stacked so that when it rains, water didnot wet the seat and could be used as a shelter.
