WORLD CHAMPS QUALIFIER SERIES IS COMING TO GABS!

Attention all beer athletes… glory is calling! TINNIE HURLING, the world’s favourite beer sport, invented by the brewery with the little green smile (Balter Brewing) is set to light up GABS Festival in 2023. There are loads of great Balter merch prizes to be won, plus, the highest scoring team from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane will be flown to Balter HQ on the Gold Coast for the World Tinnie Hurling Championships!

How It Works

Register your team of 2 using the registration form below

2 games will be held at each GABS Festival session.

Chosen teams will receive a confirmation text the day before GABS Festival so keep your phone close!

How To Play

Teams of 2 get 4 tinnies (2 throws per player) and 60 seconds for the perfect slide down a 3m long table. The aim is to hit the bullseye at the end and score as many points as possible to progress to the next round!
