Mobility: HONDA LAUNCHES NEW OFF-ROAD MOTORCYCLES

Honda Philippines,Inc. (HPI), the No.1 motorcycle manufacturer in the country, officially launched the All-New CRF300L and the All-New CRF300 Rally, bringing in the new generation of design and performance for off-road riding.

Serving as the enhanced version of its predecessors (CRF250L and CRF250 Rally), the All-New CRF300L and the All-New CRF300 Rally will stand as the aspirational models for other on and off-road motorcycles. These are the perfect bike for riders looking for a powerful yet comfortable and maneuverable ride.

The All-New CRF300L and The All-New CRF300 Rally come equipped with a new 286cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled DOHC Euro-5 compliant engine for improved power and performance. It delivers 19.6kW @ 8,250rpm of engine power and 26.1Nm @ 6,500rpm of torque while improving fuel consumption at 29.5km/L for a longer and more efficient ride. The engine also has an assist/slipper clutch for smooth gear switching operation and to prevent wheels from locking while changing gears.

Like its predecessor, this motorcycle comes in two variants: the All-New CRF300L and the All-New CRF300 Rally. Both variants have a digital meter with a gear position indicator to help riders have precise gear information and controlled riding. Both are designed with a stronger, lighter, and sharper image, appealing to daring riders who see endless motorcycle riding possibilities.

The All-New CRF300L design has been upgraded to resemble the CRF450L. It features a new light-designed thin headlight for improved vision on the road, an upside-down gold shock absorber for safer and better riding, and a pro-link rear suspension for excellent balance when maneuvering. Riders can experience more comfortability, and better maneuverability since the All-New CRF300L’s weight was reduced by 6kg. It is offered in extreme red, at a suggested retail price of PHP 259,900.

Meanwhile, the All-New CRF300 Rally’s new headlight design and winkers also come with a large Rally bike-style windshield for safety from small projectiles while off-road. This variant also has a new 12.8-liter fuel tank capacity, giving riders less worry about fuel when riding off-road. With its weight reduced by 5kg, riders can experience a more relaxed and worryfree ride. It also comes in the extreme red premium color and is priced at PHP 300,000.

“The year 2020 clearly showed us what motorcycles can do for us in our lives other than daily commuting, paving the way to endless possibilities for motorcycle innovations. For Honda, there is no end of the road to creating a better normal for Filipinos,” HPI president Susumu Mitsuishi said.
