The Line La Linea (The Line) is the protagonist of a cartoon created by Osvaldo Cavandoli in 1969 for RAI TV The cartoon is constituted by a little man who runs through a virtually infinite line of which is also an integral part. The character finds on its way numerous obstacles and often turns to the artist (in an incomprehensible grammar) so that the artist designs the solution to his problems. The presentation of the character, initially called Agostino Lagostina, is this: "Who is Agostino? A lively little man with a truly expressive nose, with all the demands and concerns of modern life, the son of a pencil and a hand".

Bridget's art was part of a style of art known as "Op Art." Optical art creates an optical illusion. Op Art tricks your eye into seeing lines that appear to move.
