Who’s behind the brand? Galia Lahav || President . Worldr enowned designer with over 30 years of establishment in haute couture dresses. Galia was born in Russia into a family of seamstresses. From a young age she hashad a strong passion for sewing and designing. Through many years of teaching art she developed the desire to turn her artwork into fashion and soon after created her brand. She is presently considered to be one of the world's leading designers of customized premium gowns for high profile celebrities and women worldwide. Sharon Sever || Home designer. BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) Graduate and Fashion Diploma holder from the Paris American Academy. Studied Art And Fashion In Paris and apprenticed in High Fashion (Haute Couture) in leading Parisian Fashion Houses, such as – Christian Lacroix, Pierre Balmain, Carven, Alaia, Balenciaga and others... Since this Millenniums’ early years designed the Bridal Haute Couture line for the Spanish fashion house of ModelNovias.
What’s our X factor? • We specialise in body contouring and very fitted silhouettes. • We use special blends mach for us, which allows us to provide both beauty and comfort. This fact also makes the garments most fitting! And all fabrics are made exclusively for us . • We invest 20% of our time in research, and to search for new innovative fabric technologic processes that can give an even "finer" aspect to the design. This results in every dress which is a combination of few layers (which is an art by itself), laid upon one another in the perfect way.
The Creative process • Everything starts with thorough field work such as:Research and communication with the Pantone company. We try to understand future possible trends of tones, colours and fabrics. Then we usually travel to the fabric exhibitions in Paris and, once picked the tone and fabric, the creative process begins. • We prepare a moodboard and Sharon, the Home designer, starts working on several sketches. From those sketches we select some and begin to cut, fit and see if the figure is flattering and sexy according to our guidelines. • Once everything is in place, we sew and measure again. • One of the most important thing for us is how the garment fits the body, without a doubt, and that is our most acknowledged value. • In the final stage, we decorate the gowns with Swarovski, pearls and custom lace applicants. We have the world's best decorators and their work by itself is a real work of art. It’s like a drawing, which adds richness and has given our gowns it’s signature detailed appearance we love so much.
