This season, designers Galia Lahav and Sharon Sever float down the rabbit hole for Collection No. VIII, a range of exquisite wedding gowns inspired by the gorgeous fantasia of Alice in Wonderland. With nods to Edwardian fairytale heroines, untamed garden labyrinths, and the skewed glamour of Tim Burton, Collection No. VIII is a different way of looking at wedding gowns. “We’re giving the bride an alternative to the obvious,” Lahav says, “with trendy but classic and elegant moods all in one collection.” As a starting point, the design team leaned into ideas of dreamy softness, sourcing exquisite fabrics like beaded and fringed chiffon, vivid patterned laces in different sizes and weaves, and plays on shiny and matte silks with intricate, textured embroidery. Volume in sleeves and hemlines has been pumped up, while hidden inserts in the skirts provide more body and movement. From subtle mermaid silhouettes to pronounced trumpet shapes, wistful ballgowns, and modern A-line adaptations, this is a collection for extraordinary imagination and otherworldly beauty. To mirror Wonderland’s magical aura, a color palette of dreamy shades like silk white, sheer ivory, and hints of pale pink, gold and nude have been used; their softness is often contrasted with mazes of embroidered geometric lace, mini-length pouf skirts, and sheer panels revealing glimpses of what’s underneath. For those who believe love is an adventure, and life can sometimes be beautifully surreal, Collection No. VIII is a fashion odyssey that makes Wonderland style into a stunning and amazing reality. As Alice herself says: “This world is quite mad but quite beautiful. Won’t you join the dance?”

A dramatic sheer top made of pleated silk tulle with a high neck and gathered voluminous sleeves all accentuated with silk velvet ribbons and piping.
G-304 Sheer asymmetrical jumpsuit with a diagonal plunge in front, a voluminous balloon sleeve and candy wrap features at the waistline and ankles.
G-305 Fitted strapless mermaid dress with a sheer corset back detail accentuated with lace ribbons made of beaded lace over a shimmering background and decorated with beaded appliquĂŠs and a scalloped lace trim.

G-306 Asymmetrical cut-out silk chiffon sheath dress with multiple lace inserts, embellished with multiple beaded features and beaded fringes accentuating the cut-outs and shoulders. Sheer low back trimmed with beaded details.
G-307 Tailored A-line dress with a structured sequinned top fastened at the neck with a dramatic sheer bow and a sheer tiered skirt made of pleated silk tulle ruffles.
G-308 Sheer strapless A-line dress made of a two-toned embroidered tulle in shades of blush and ivory with a geometrical floral pattern. The skirt has hidden pockets and a delicate silk bow sash.
G-309 Whimsical A-line strapless dress with an asymmetrical voluminous top ruffled layer, made of 3D embroidered tulle which is also draped over the strapless sheer top corset.
G-310 Romantic ballgown corseted dress, made of pink DegradĂŠ silk tulle. The top is embelished with 3D silk flowers, combined with a silk tulle shawl framing the shoulders, and attached with an embroidered flower.
