Galileo...where the students are stars!
Galileo School of Math and Science 1600 N. Union Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80909 719-328-2200
G ALI LEO
Dear Galileo Parents and Scholars, Spring is in the air, and our state assessment, CSAP, is right around the corner. We are excited for the opportunity to show how well our kids are doing. Enclosed in this newsletter are some recommendations for CSAP testing. Our testing window is March 9 – 18th. If you need to schedule an appointment, please try to make sure it is in the afternoon because our testing is in the morning. It is important that our students get a good night’s rest and plenty of nourishment before testing. At Galileo, this is a time for celebration. We want our kids to work hard for 2 ½ hours in the morning but in the afternoons, there are rewards and incentives. Our winter sports are over, and we are getting ready for girls’ volleyball and boys’ track. If your scholar is interested in either of these sports, make sure he/she has a physical before trying out. The last week of March is our spring break, and we encourage families and scholars to take some time off, enjoy themselves, and refresh their batteries for the last nine weeks of school. As always, Galileo is a great place to go to school because of our scholars, families, and communities. Sincerely, Rusty Moomey Principal
