THAT’S

HOT

There is something about putting on a piece of sensual clothing that makes someone feel sexy and uninhibited, regardless if dressing in a virtual platform. Second LifeTM allows us to explore fashion choices that are often hindered in real life, and we can wear bolder choices that we might not be able to get away with outside of our online community. Indeed, the way a special piece can awaken the senses demonstrates how fashion can evoke such a feeling or mood in all of us. And very few can evoke such a special feeling like Noche.

Noche entered the world of men’s fashion in 2016. However, designer Danny Colivati had been involved in virtual worlds and designing well before that time. Danny first heard about Second LifeTM from a friend of his from Gaia Online. His initial plan was to troll online residents with his impressive Paris Hilton voice impersonation, but his plans changed after his first day in this virtual com munity. While he gave up the voice impersonation, Danny shared his favorite quote is still “That’s hot.”

Unlike a number of other creators, Danny is self-taught in his ability to create amazing designs. He credits YouTube and a lot of trial and error in his learning process. Danny originally started out with Meli Imako templates, and he cut his teeth in women’s fashion with a store he called “Juice.” Unfortunately, this store was not a success. Far from being beaten, Danny found inspiration by a YouTube video “Drax File Episode 9: Elie Spot”. Her creations fueled his passion to create and soon he learned how to mesh. His next venture was a store entitled “Junkpile”.

He found initial success with his limited-edition full perm clothing and items. He entrepreneurial spirit continued with a female store he rebranded “Pink and Wild”, where he released the first dress he ever created. Danny still feels pride when referencing this instrumental design from his portfolio.

From there Danny was invited to renown event FaMESHed and his store “Pink and Wild” completely took off. Fresh off of the heels of this success, Danniy rebranded to Lumiere Apparel. This store offered amazing intimate apparel for a number of the mesh bodies spawning across the grid. Lumiere eventually became the beloved Noche store, and Danny ventured into the world of men’s fashion.

The Noche brand is one of the premiere brands in Second Life TM for men’s fashion, especially when it comes to casual wear and intimate apparel.

When asked why, Danny laughed and shared that he could never find underwear to fit his “slider 100” bottom for The Mesh Project TM body. He selected the term Noche because he loved the way it rolled off the tongue and also paid homage to his Mexican roots.

LifeTM for men’s fashion, especially when it comes to casual wear and intimate apparel. Danny offers underwear, shirts, swimwear, fetish items, accessories and more.

He also very recently created his first suit to add to his impressive portfolio for the August round of FaMESHed . While rigging is the part of the process he hates the most, Danny prides himself on being a perfectionist, which is obvious by the impressive demand for his amazing creations. He finds inspiration from many things: life, magazine and people he talks with daily. When asked to pick his favorite item, he struggled to name one; however, he did share some insight with “the thottier, the better”.

In his downtime he enjoys hanging out with his small group of friends, and he admitted that shopping is his guilty pleasure (although Taylor Swift’s new album “Lover” is right up there on his list as well).

Danny was quick to express the gratitude for everyone that supports Noche, and he still finds it hard to believe that he has such an amazing job that allows him to provide for himself in real life. Owning a store has come with many surprises, such as the number of notecards he receives daily and how people recognize him more.

Despite these changes, Danny also was thankful for those that inspired him, especially his friend Envi and sisters Riley and Chris, who have motivated him with his designs and skills. This motivation continues to drive Danny to create, and customers can look forward to a new store from him in the near future dubbed Bellucci, which will specialize in holdable ben to animated items (which he calls props).
