Welcome to Gallery 44 From new art lovers to seasoned collectors, Gallery 44 brings you innovative and exciting works of art. We are an online gallery, dedicated entirely to representing high quality contemporary art from emerging and established artists internationally. It doesn’t matter if this is your first experience of buying. We understand this can be a daunting prospect and we are here to guide you through the process. Likewise, if you have been collecting art for years, our experience and indepth knowledge means that we can easily pinpoint what you are looking for. At Gallery 44, we are passionate about discovering and offering new avenues of artistic engagement to everyone. Gallery 44 promotes talented up-coming and established artists who work across a broad range of media. Our artists exhibit their collections via exhibitions and various art galleries throughout Europe. We are committed to supporting artists who create inspirational visual works of art, and it is a pleasure for us to introduce their work to new audiences. Central to our ethos, Gallery 44 has a history of offering works that engage audiences through conceptual and visual ideas. Tony Abraham Tony Abraham studied art in London and joined the marketing communications agency J. Walter Thompson in the early 1960s. progressing to become Art Director and later Creative Director and Chairman of a subsidiary. Over the past 35 years, he developed internationally recognised art campaigns and packaging designs for dozens of companies, including Guiness, Ferrero Rocher, Kellogg’s (the ‘monkey’ image on Coco Pops), Unilever’s ‘Denim’ aftershave, and Braun Shaver images. Abraham’s works are on permanent display at the Museum of Brands Packaging and Advertising in Notting Hill and are represented at the Attic Gallery, London. After leaving J. Walters Thompson Abraham began painting and drawing in various media, from acrylic and oil to watercolour and charcoal. His works range from figurative to abstract and reflect his international travels and admiration for artists such as David Hockney, Francis Bacon and Pablo Picasso. The artist was so excited at the prospect of exhibiting at the Club but sadly passed away unexpectedly on 4 April 2016. Tony’s family decided to proceed with this exhibition, with help from his close friends and colleagues in the art world.

Brian Shepherd Educated in Salisbury Wiltshire, Brian studied painting and graphics at Salisbury Art College. He graduated into the advertising industry, and during his time spent working on paintings and illustrations he became highly skilled with the airbrush as his preferred medium. With a lifelong passion for popular music, art memorabilia, and all things rock & roll, Brian gravitated towards the custom motorcycle business and started a custom paint business, working directly onto motorcycle parts, trucks, guitars and other items, for which he established a formidable reputation. As a full time artist, Brian has undertaken an impressive range of commissions for companies including Harrods of Knightsbridge, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser and the Arcadia Group as well as private collectors. His work is exhibited in galleries across the UK, Europe and the USA.
