01 ARDHANA CURNITA

Location : Taman Jagakarsa, Jakarta, Indonesia Teamwork : Individual Type : Villa

Ardhana means peace, and Curnitra means uniting. So the concept of this villa is to unite and provide peace for the residents of the villa. A Villa or intermission house not only place for rest, but have another meaning of 'place for escape from daily life'. Intermission place gives something that we never realize in daily life, because of bustle life in city. Therefore, the concept is to unify the resident by creating activity and interaction in it. With create program spaces that focused on gathering room as facility center and interaction, also a park presence plants and pool.

Type : Museum and Performing Arts

The site location is the first Indonesian airport. Currently there is still an ATC Tower, which is used as a Cultural Heritage. However, not many people know the history of the site. Around the site there is a mix used building and the Jakarta International Expo. The concept raised is Rise Up which has the hope of resurrecting the site, with the presence of the ATC Tower as the main access point. Although currently around the site there are various different building functions, this site can still stand and bring back the existence of history.

Site Conceptual

The orientation of the building is obtained from the draw of the axis, which the ATC Tower as the main axis.

Because the main concept that wants to revive the existence of the ATC Tower. The other axes are obtained from the direction of circulation in and out of the vehicle. So that the orientation of the building does not block its surroundings. Because the essence of Garuda itself is that it will not harm other beings. So that the building will not close and harm other buildings. From this axis, pedestrian and vehicle circulation is formed, with the ATC Tower as a meeting point.

Massing Conceptual

The mass composition was obtained from Garuda. Because besides symbolizing Indonesia, Garuda has 3 important essences and characters : monumental, strong/tough, resurrection.

From this concept, we get a mass that shows a process. It can be seen from the lowest mass to the largest, which describes the resurrection process itself. Two building masses were also obtained based on different functions, namely the Concert Hall and the Digital Art Museum. Between the two masses will be connected by a connecting bridge that functions as an exhibition venue with a focus on the view to the ATC Tower

Site location is near Jiexpo where people already know it well. In 1971, the site was first International airport in Indonesia. Then in 1984, it was stopped operation. The reason for site selection are caused of strategic location and near with station, hospital, hotel, apartment, and accessibility It was first International Airport Indonesia (1984) At north side, there is Jiexpo where people already know. At west side, there is Mix Used underconstruction

In the details of the building facade, using parametric by attention to the function of the room and openings. The wider of parameter opening, the more accessible the room is for the public. Meanwhile, the narrower opening, showing a private room, service room, and rehearsal room.

The cut-out mockup at the concert hall shows the different levels, the use of the ceiling, the space behind the stage, and the layout of the audience seating.

03 Interconected

Location : Tangerang, Indonesia

Teamwork : Individual Project Type : Community Center

A location is adjacent to Stadion Benteng in Tangerang. The design is a community center that has a function to accommodate inhabitants' activity. The community center is formed based on thesis research about Stadion Benteng that has not been able to maximize its role as a regional landmark. Due to the varied but disorganized community activities and the obstructed visibility of visitors to the stadium.

The site is adjacent to Stadion Benteng and in a quite strategic place for being in between Kota Tangerang and Tangerang Selatan. Its existence in a developing area with a dense population and varied community activities, makes it potential to attract visitors from various regions for activities. The design of the community center will facilitate local community activities and activities at the Benteng Stadium that have not been properly facilitated.

Location and Accesibility

Access to the entrance is not clearly visible, because:

- The existence of an unorganized night market and crowded visitor vehicles.

-The presence of merchants in front of the entrance hinders the clarity of access.

Stadion Benteng is invisible to visitors, because

The existence of retail and unorganized vegetation. So the background and foreground is not clear.

The main road is jammed and congested, because:

- The main road is only 10 meters wide and is traversed by various vehicles from both directions.

The boundaries of the stadium with the surroundings are less clear, because

- Boundaries are trees and lakes, thus reducing the clarity of boundaries between Stadion and its surroundings

04. Interior Executive Lounge

Type : Interior

The concepts for design are entertain and elegant. Commonly, the executive lounge has a magnificent and luxurious concept. But we decided to bring a different concept according to the client who has a 'fun' concept and targeting young customers. Thus the concept and color applied are brighter

The entertain concept applied to room functions. While the elegant concept applied in material and colors. The room is provided with a mini library, mini bar, and viewing room. These spaces are adapted to the analysis of activities and the possibility of guests coming to the executive lounge. The color of the walls and furniture is adjusted to an elegant color palette.

The point of view for the whole room is the mini bar that used a waffle table and it is located in the middle of room. Also, the waffle concept is applied to the ceiling and mini library. So whole rooms have same of concept and theme of furniture

Sijak Cafe is a coworking space and cafe for millenial. The concept is relax, chill, and colorful. Concept application according of the main function of cafe as place for hangout. The concept also applied for coworking space with the existing of additional elements such as big bean bags in mezanine that could be comforting to work. The mix used of coworking space and cafe also trending nowadays. Because cafe usually has function as gather place or meeting, so it will be more efficient if provided coworking space that as comfy as cafe. Therefore, the owner will have income from both.
