New Student Orientation
Galveston College has created an online version of the New Student Orientation in an effort to better serve our students. The orientation may be accessed through your Whitecaps Portal; see login instructions at https://gc.edu/ student-services/counseling-career-center/orientation/. Students must have applied to Admissions and received their GC student ID number before being able to login to the Canvas system to complete the orientation. If you do not know your GC student ID number, please contact the Admissions Office for assistance. Your Admissions acceptance letter provides details on how to access the Canvas system at https:// gccanvas.gc.edu/ to complete the pre-assessment activity for those students who must take the TSI College Readiness classification, as well as access to the online new student orientation.
