Have you ever heard of Gaius Plinius Secundus? Perhaps you may know him by his more common name, Pliny the Elder? Still doesn’t ring a bell? You probably know one of his more well-known quotes – “Home is where the heart is”

Interestingly, Pliny the Elder lived in Rome during the first century A.D., and he already knew way back then the connection between heart and home. Times have sure changed over the centuries, but our warm affection for our homes has not. Many times we think back to our childhood homes with fond memories of growing up and the security of our own home.
