She’sfought for ourcountry as aU.S. Army lieutenant colonel, honorablyleading and receiving thehighest commendationsas an intelligence officer.Among her many decorations, medals, and badgesare the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service, and Global War on Terrorism Service medals andthe parachutist badge. As a former dedicated Savannahbasedattorney, Joyce represented the best interests ofGeorgians from an arrayof backgrounds. Her commitment to providing asubstantial number of services free of charge earnedher the Georgia LegalServices Pro Bono recognition and Chief JusticeRobert Benham recognition for professional competence. Joyce graduatedfrom North Carolina Central University with BAand MA degrees and JohnMarshall Law School witha JD in law.

Seasoned by listening to and working tosupply the needs of othersin communities at homeand abroad, Joyce is wellprepared to championthe struggles of everydayGeorgians.
