The Federation of International Polo is delighted to endorse and be part of the POLO RIDER CUP 2023 in its third edition.

This event that started in 2021 thanks to the vision and determination of Olivier Godallier, GAME POLO. After two very successful years at Chantilly the POLO RIDER CUP goes to the magnificent Polo Club Saint-Tropez – Haras de Gassin, thus complying with its mission of taking the tournament to all major Polo Clubs.

In this third edition, where 12 teams representing polo clubs from all over the world, over 50 athletes representing 8 nations will compete and live for more than ten days at Saint-Tropez thus helping the Federation of International Polo achieve some of its principal missions of developing Polo worldwide and at the same time inspiring the international exchange of cultures and camaraderie in polo.

After two POLO RIDER CUPs and with this its third edition we can say that we have established, in the World Polo calendar, the POLO RIDER CUP as the World Polo Championship of Clubs.

It is the Federation of International Polo’s objective to continue to work very closely with GAME POLO and the International Polo Clubs that are participating in the POLO RIDER CUP in order to continue to develop this concept of international polo competition at every level and at every age.

We want to use quality, world class polo events like this to leave a lasting impression & positive experience in the lives of people who witness & participate; we are well on our way to achieving that.

The Federation of International Polo is extremely grateful to all partners and sponsors who have helped in this enterprise. Thank you Olivier for your vision, enthusiasm and support for the sport of polo; thank you Polo Club Saint-Tropez – Haras de Gassin for hosting the teams at this beautiful and well managed facility; thank you Polo Clubs from around the world for participating; thank you to the local operations team for your excellent work on the polo grounds, for taking care and maintaining the health & fitness of all the horses; and to all the Federation of International Polo Officials, Tournament Director and Umpires.
