“ESL was a memorable experience because I made friends, learned about different cultures, had engaging professors and textbooks, and gained research skills. Weekly lessons on American culture and phonics, as well as lessons on academic success and study habits, boosted my self-confidence.”
“Gannon’s ESL program offered me a wealth of opportunities. With the support of excellent faculty, I gained the confidence to express my ideas and communicate effectively in an Englishspeaking environment. They understood the challenges of being a non-native speaker, and their patience and guidance helped me improve. I feel excited about pursuing my professional aspirations of working in an academic environment speaking English.”
