By strategically situating the structure to optimize its surroundings, including maximizing northern exposure and minimizing southern facades, we can utilize natural shading and cooling effects. This orientation reduces direct sunlight penetration and decreases the need for air conditioning, promoting energy efficiency and a more comfortable interior environment.

02 PANTHI Project type Commercial Semester 6 Location Nava Raipur Area 18990 m2

Description To design luxurious 5-Star hotel for the visitors which seamlessly blends with the deep cultural connection to the surrounding area. The design should ensure that the flow of guests and staff is facilitated while the unique cultural identity of this locale is reflected. Emphasis is placed on functional efficiency, interior spaces that authentically convey local traditions, and the creation of a welcoming atmosphere. The intention is to have a spatial design that evokes the local culture, providing easy navigation and accessibility. The result will be a sophisticated hotel that is seamlessly integrated with the area’s cultural tapestry, offering an unforgettable, culturally immersive experience to all visitors.

Tribal dances in Chhattisgarh embody the state’s rich heritage and preserve ancient traditions, showcasing the unique tribal way of life, spirituality, and social bonds. These dances, through their movements and traditional music, narrate folklore and rituals, symbolizing Chhattisgarh’s identity. Furthermore, they boost the state’s economy by attracting tourism. These performances are more than just displays; they are living embodiments of Chhattisgarh’s cultural essence, cherished by locals and the world alike.

Gantavya Bhagat

Dance in Chhattisgarh is more than a form of artistic expression; it’s a cultural cornerstone. It serves as a medium to celebrate traditions, express devotion, and narrate tales of local folklore. Dance fosters community bonds, preserves heritage, and is a source of pride, making it an integral part of Chhattisgarh’s identity. Taking Panthi dance which is done on the birth of Guru Ghasi Das. Its has 25 rounds from which i have taken 1 round and implemented it in my design. the question arises, how can i represent dance in paper, here comes the Benesh Notation

Benesh Notation Benesh Notation is a symbolic system used in dance to record choreography and movements. It employs symbols and lines on a stave to represent various body parts and directions. Dancers and choreographers use this precise notation to document and reconstruct dance sequences accurately, aiding in the preservation and transmission of dance compositions.

Placing functional zones, like the kitchen and staff area, at the center stage, establishes them as the heart of the design. The lines symbolize movements intricately intertwined with this central core, fostering a fluid and dynamic interplay among the spaces.

Adapting movement patterns by rotating and aligning them with the site’s topography and climate enhances the user experience, optimizing comfort and functionality.

The final design form seamlessly incorporates Panthi dance elements and parameters, facilitating effortless movement while adapting to the climatic conditions.

03 STEPS Project type Institutional Semester 7 Location Nava Raipur

Description This project, situated on a large site, involves designing an institution that accommodates a significant number of users. The goal is to create adaptable, functional spaces, emphasizing energy efficiency, resource conservation, and sustainable materials. Architecturally, it should blend seamlessly with its environment, achieving aesthetic appeal. Moreover, the institution must prioritize full accessibility for all, in line with universal design principles. Introducing one of the departments in the institution I’ve designed: The “Department of Chemistry, Chemical and metallurgy”. It includes flexible, eco-friendly areas that harmoniously integrate with the natural surroundings, incorporating sustainable building materials.

The site exhibits a gentle slope, with the highest point at 308 meters above sea level in the center and the lowest point at 298 meters in the south. Design considerations should utilize this topographical diversity for views, drainage, and foundation planning, ensuring an efficient and site-responsive construction.

The structure’s orientation prioritizes abunda sunlight. Placing stairs on the south side crea within the building and ensuring a comfortab sign strategy optimizes both natural lighting a
