Carapace makes a sensitive approach for upliftment of NYCHA in Red Hook . The project transfig ures NYCHA to become a more engaging and diverse place. The buffer spaces leverages flexibility in function and operation. It also allows for between the new and the old skin allows for expansion of internal spaces, provides circulation spaces, subtracts spaces for additional light. The lower floors act as sacrificfial zones during the flooding.

Red Hook,a reclaimed peninsula is likely to submerge under water by 2100 as a result of climate change and global sea level rise. The neighborhood already suffers of socially segregation, isolation and deprivation of direct transport connection by subway.
Aqua-voids offers a speculation into an urban future in which rising waters become a part of the neighbourhood have reconfigured the existing and propsed development to co-exist with water. Aqua voids envisions Red Hook with a mutualistic approach aiming at climate resilience and adaptaion. The project envisions gradual densification with an aim to integrate community resiliency into urban strategies from climate resiliency attempting to revive Red Hook’s identity as a waterfront industrial zone with an inclusive neighborhood of varying ethnicities and economical classes in the context of rising sea levels.
There research examines factors of planning and designing that affect the extend to which open street spaces are utilized and if it infuence the saftey of pedestrains. The factor of time also plays a crucial role as many of the zones, dense with commertial activity are emptied out in post-office hours. There aim is to find locations that are stigmatized, unsafe and how could they be made safer by inducing mixed used tyology of blocks that keep the streets active throughut the day. These factors affects The research aim to analyse usability and extend to which streets are safer.
In advent of road demolition drive by the local municipal and chaos. Apart from malfunctioning the, market the informal vendors commercial dominate the roads strike an equilibrium between informal and formal space. The design also tries to untangle the bits of

Set in a baugolic location of Nashik, the projects constiutes playful sports like go-carking, bunjee jumping, open paint ball, rafting. The scpoe of projects includes landscaping and Hospitality. My role was to zone out these acivities and work on the detailed drawings of already in construction building of the Resort.
