The Employment Agency Standards (EAS) Inspectorate is the government authority responsible for the enforcement of certain agency worker rights. Your minimum rate of pay will be no less than the National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage in effect at the time of work as can be found at https://www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-rates’ Your specific rate of pay and any enhancements under AWR can be found on your Assignment Details Form.

We are required by law to deduct income tax and national insurance. You can earn a certain amount of income each year, called Personal Allowance, before you need to pay any Income Tax, the amount depends on the tax code you have been issued by HMRC.

• You pay national insurance contributions if you earn more than £242 a week;

• You pay 8% of your earnings above this limit and up to £967 a week;

• The rate drops to 2% of your earnings over £967 a week.

All workers are automatically enrolled into our pension scheme, as per our legal requirements, after a 12-week postponement. The deductions are calculated at 5% of earnings over £120 per week up to £967. Your employer will also contribute 3%.

No fees for goods or services are intended at this point. Formal written agreement would be entered in to detailing the fees for any goods or services prior to the provision.

Holiday Entitlement and Pay:

Each leave year you are entitled to statutory holiday entitlement of 5.6 weeks, which equates to 28 days pro-rated, inclusive of bank and public holidays in the U.K, accrued at a minimum of 12.07% of hours worked and paid at a rate equal to your average hourly rate of pay over the previous 12 months. Limited to the amount accrued. The leave year commences on the date that you first start an assignment or a series of assignments and runs until the anniversary of that date.

If you work at one company for more than 12 weeks, you might be entitled to additional accrual % under Agency Worker Regulations - AWR This will be communicated on the assignment schedule.

Additional Benefits: These could include access to collective facilities provided by a hirer on day one of an assignment under AWR. These will vary from client to client, your Assignment Schedule will provide the specific details for any assignments you accept.
