AMÁLIA ART AWARD AMALIA A CONTEMPORARY LOOK António Prates Art Gallery holds the exhibition AMÁLIA UM OLHAR CONTEMPORÂNEO in partnership with Centro Português de Serigrafia and Amália Rodrigues Foundation as part of the celebration of the Centenary of the birth of Amália Rodrigues. In the context of the exhibition, the Art Prize Amália will be awarded. The Jury included: the Gallerist António Prates, director of the António Prates Art Gallery; João Prates, director of the Centro Português de Serigrafia; Rui Orfão, in representation of the Amália Rodrigues Foundation; Ana Zannati, actress, writer and friend of Amália Rodrigues and Rui Afonso Santos, Curator. Four artists invited by the gallery will also be part of the exhibition, Ivan Messac, Joana Pitta, Rico Sequeira, Silva Palmeira and five artists edited by CPS, Carlos Barroco, Domingos Mateus, Leonel Moura, Nuno Teixeira and Pedro do Vale.

Mais do que um ícone, uma voz inigualável, uma presença enfeitiçadora e mágica, uma mulher de espírito livre e aberto, um coração generoso, uma inteligência fina e um espírito de humor requintado, Amália, e a voz que lhe sai da alma, comportam nelas imagens da deusa, da heroína, da amante, da artista, da rainha, da criança ferida, da pioneira, da mística, arquétipos que fazem parte do inconsciente colectivo e por isso transcendem fronteiras, povos, culturas. Amália existe e existirá sempre no sentir dos portugueses e de todos os que por esse mundo fora a escutaram ou irão escutar. Sempre, uma ou várias partes de nós, se identificarão com ela, e por isso Amália nunca deixará de estar presente.

More than an icon, an unparalleled voice, a bewitching and magical presence, a woman with a free and open spirit, a generous heart, a fine intelligence and a spirit of exquisite humor, Amália, and the voice that comes out of her soul, contain in them images of the goddess, heroine, lover, artist, queen, wounded child, pioneer, mystic, archetypes that are part of the collective unconscious and therefore transcend borders, peoples, cultures. Amália exists and will always exist in the feel of the Portuguese and in all those who have listened or will listen to her. Always, one or more parts of us will identify with her, and that is why Amália will never cease to be present.

Amália A sua voz era de uma profundidade e beleza extrema.Conheci-a quando a Maluda e a Ana Zanatti me convidaram para passarmos uma tarde em casa dela. Uns tempos mais tarde, lembrei-me de fazer um álbum que juntasse a Arte e o Fado.Convidei o escultor Francisco Simões, para fazer os desenhos e que os mesmos representassem um ambiente fadista. Falei com o meu querido e saudoso amigo Carlos Zel que entusiasmado aplaudiu a ideia. Ambos fomos falar com a Amália, que também gostou e apadrinhou o projeto, prontificando-se para fazer o prefácio. E assim aconteceu. Foram feitas 28 serigrafias, assinadas pelo Francisco Simões com textos a acompanhar as mesmas de outros tantos fadistas ou pessoas ligadas ao fado. Hoje ainda existem alguns álbuns no CPS. É uma grande honra para mim ter a oportunidade de me manifestar e organizar em parceria com a Fundação Amália Rodrigues e o Centro Português de Serigrafia numa exposição em que participam vários artistas, comemorando assim o centenário do nascimento dessa grande Diva, com trabalhos realizados especificamente para esta ocasião. Não é só um acto de reconhecimento, pela forma tão bonita e bela como Amália representou Portugal no Mundo, com a sua forma de vida. Apenas estranha, pela forma como se entregava pela sua bondade, gentileza e grandeza de sentimentos. Amália está no coração de todos os Portugueses. Ela levou para todos os emigrantes, através de discos, CD’s, cassetes ou outros tipos de gravações, amor e uma nacionalidade que muito ajudou a criar forças para suportar a Saudade. Obrigado Amália! É um prazer que o meu coração sente, poder oferecer-lhe no centenário do seu nascimento, estas imagens criadas para si. Amália Her voice was of an extreme depth and beauty. I met her when Maluda and Ana Zanatti invited me to spend an afternoon at her house. Sometime later, I remembered that it would be a great idea to make an album that would bring together Art and Fado. I invited the sculptor Francisco Simões, to make the drawings and asked him to make them represent the Fado’s singer entourage. I spoke to my dear and late friend Carlos Zel who enthusiastically applauded the idea. We both went to see Amália, who also liked and supported the project, having offered to write the preface. And so, it happened. They were made 28 screen-prints, signed by Francisco Simões a ndtogether with it there were texts written by fado singers or people linked to fado. Today there are still some albums in the CPS. It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to express myself in an exhibition, involving several artists, with works made specifically for this occasion, organized together with the Amália Rodrigues Foundation and the Centro Português de Serigrafia, thus celebrating the centenary of the birth of this great Diva. It is not just an act of recognition, for the form as beautiful and lovely as Amália represented Portugal in the World, with her way of life. A strange way of life, for the way she gave herself up, for her goodness, kindness, and greatness of feelings. Amália is in the heart of all the Portuguese. She carried to all emigrants, through her disks, CDs, cassettes or other types of recordings, love and a nationality that gave them strength to support the nostalgia. Thank you so much Amália! It is a pleasure that my heart feels, to be able to offer you on the centenary of your birth, these images created for you.

Assumindo a grande música vocal genuína como expressão da alma, ou de uma interioridadeque ainda não se compreende bem, cada década traz um significativo número de intérpretes de extraordinário valor que irão determinar a história de um tempo. No entanto para simbolizar toda uma cultura, um povo, pode mesmo passar um século, até emergir alguém que pela sua simples genialidade, por norma visível em tenra idade, seja intensamente dotado para superar a sua época e deixar um cunho sublime na eternidade possível. É o caso de Amália Rodrigues. Prestar-lhe tributo no ano do seu centenário, apelando à criação artística, é um desafio sério, estimulante, renovador. E didático, para as jovens gerações de artistas, a provocar a redescoberta desta voz que desassossega ou da encantadora mulher que foi, e é, Amália. O Centro Português de Serigrafia, que já integrou algumas edições no centenário de Amália no âmbito dos seus 35 anos, associa-se à iniciativa, louvando a audácia da Galeria António Prates e todos os artistas que se dignaram participar. Assuming the great genuine vocal music as the expression of the soul, or of an interiority that is not yet well understood, each decade brings a significant number of interpreters of extraordinary value that will determine the history of a time. However, to symbolize an entire culture, a people, it may even be a century before someone emerges who, due to his simple genius, normally visible at a young age, is intensely gifted to overcome his time and leave a sublime imprint in the possible eternity. This is the case of Amália Rodrigues. Pay her tribute in the year of her centenary, appealing to artistic creation, it is a serious, stimulating, renewing challenge. And didactic, for the young generations of artists, causing the rediscovery of this voice that disturbs or the charming woman who was, and is, Amália. The Centro Português de Serigrafia, which has already integrated some editions in Amália centenary within the scope of its 35 years, joins the initiative, congratulating all the artists who deigned to participate and praising the boldness of Galeria António Prates in making known such disparate proposals, to deserve, I assume and if that were possible, Amália’s enthusiastic rejoicing.

A vida e a obra de Amália Rodrigues constituem sem dúvida um marco na história, tal a singularidade e projeção que o seu nome e arte alcançaram por todos os continentes. 100 anos sobre o seu nascimento evocados nos mais diversos setores sociais e culturais são a prova de que o seu legado continua inspirador no presente e no futuro. Foi pela sua voz única que alcançou e sensibilizou povos de todo a mundo e foi também a sua vida e personalidade que a tornou referência incontornável, aliada à sua imagem e graciosidade, e nos permite hoje convocá-la pelos registos de arquivo de imagem e de som e com o mesmo fascínio nos encantar e surpreender sempre. Cosmopolita, futurista, bairrista, poderosa, misteriosa, frágil, humanista, generosa, genial, intuitiva muitos são os atributos e os adjetivos mas nunca os serão suficientes para a definir.Sábia porque fruto da raiz poética primordial, Amália é o filtro, a fonte de onde brotam as palavras em poemas carregadas de sentidos feitos nessa forma lusa chamada de fado e que outros chamam de alma e de povo e que ela encarnou e transcendeu. Para as artes plásticas, o seu contributo começa pelo fascínio dos seus admiradores em lhe fixar o retrato nas metamorfoses do corpo e da alma ou pela simbólica que a sua carreira alcançou de monumental. Global e única, assim se cria o ícone e a memória eterna e universal. Foi musa inspiradora de pintores, de escultores, de poetas, de fotógrafos e de tantos que pelo afeto a quiseram de alguma forma captar e possuir pela arte e esse fenómeno continua hoje como matéria-prima, porque radica na autenticidade, na essência e permanente renovação que foi a sua carreira. É dessa verdade que se alimenta a arte maior, é dessa matéria que se faz a matriz de onde nasce o símbolo e se torna ícone, arquétipo e paradigma. É o caos que toma forma. The life and work of Amália Rodrigues are undoubtedly a milestone in history, such is the uniqueness and projection that her name and art have reached across all continents. 100 years of her birth evoked in the most diverse social and cultural sectors are proof that her legacy remains inspiring in the present and in the future. It was through her unique voice that she reached and sensitized people from all over the world and it was also her life and personality that made her an unavoidable reference combined with her image and graciousness, and today allows us to summon her through the image and sound records and with the same fascination enchant and amaze us forever. Cosmopolitan, futuristic, local, powerful, mysterious, fragile, humanistic, generous, brilliant, intuitive, there are many attributes and adjectives, but they will never be enough to define her. Wise because fruit of the primordial poetic root, Amália it is the filter, the source from which words emerge in poems laden with meanings made in this Portuguese form called fado and others call it soul and people and which she incarnated and transcended. AMÁLIA, HOJE Amália é, hoje, ícone e símbolo... Um talento natural, uma voz única, uma expressividade performativa nunca antes dela vista marcaram e continuam a marcar legiões de admiradores, aquém e além fronteiras. Longe do frio figurino académico com que Eduardo Malta, retratista de agrado mundano, a retratou em 1949 - na charneira do reconhecimento como a maior cantadeira que o fado havia conhecido -, importa, hoje, recordar o seu centenário através das propostas de numerosos artistas que aqui se apresentam. Mulher de origens humildes e intérprete privilegiada da sensibilidade popular, Amália soube unir alta e baixa cultura, ao cometer a ousadia de, sob as notáveis composições musicais de Alain Oulman, cantar os grandes poetas, portugueses, como Camões ou David Mourão Ferreira, e brasileiros, como Cecília Meireles. O resultado, o álbum Com que Voz, chocou o purismo conservador mas, com o tempo, firmou-se como um dos mais notáveis registos musicais portugueses de todos os tempos. Amália, foi, assim, também inovadora, vanguardista, dir-se-ia. Os seus inegáveis carisma e fotogenia – coroados pelas suas incursões no cinema – seduziram os artistas visuais, que souberam interpretá-la como signo – como o fez Leonel Moura ao manipular a fotografia do seu rosto – ou, sem deixar do recurso ao inevitável registo tardo-naturalista, popularizado, dissecaram a essência do gesto, da performatividade que o fado também é, do carisma da artista, figura da maior grandeza, hoje convertida em verdadeiro mito.

AMÁLIA, TODAY Today Amália is an icon and symbol. A natural talent, a unique voice, a performative expressiveness never seen before have marked and continue to mark legions of admirers, within and across borders. Far from the cold academic costume with which Eduardo Malta, a portraitist of worldly pleasure, portrayed her in 1949 - in the hinge of recognition as the greatest singer that fado had ever known -, it is important, today, to remember her centenary through the proposals of numerous artists presented here. A woman of humble origins and privileged interpreter of popular sensibility, Amália knew how to unite high and low culture by committing the boldness of singing, under the remarkable musical compositions of Alain Oulman, singing the great Portuguese poets, such as Camões or David Mourão Ferreira, and Brazilians, as Cecília Meireles. The result, the album Com que Voz, shocked conservative purism but, over time, established itself as one of the most remarkable Portuguese musical records of all time. Amália was thus also innovative, avant-garde, one would say. Her undeniable charisma and photogeny – crowned by her forays into cinema seduced visual artists, who knew how to interpret her as a sign - as Leonel Moura did when manipulating the photography of her face – or, without ceasing to resort to the inevitable late-naturalist register, popularized, they dissected the essence of the gesture, of the performativity that fado is also, of the artist’s charisma, a figure of the greatest grandeur, today converted into a true myth.

Começou sua carreira como ilustrador e caricaturista, trabalhou para diversas publicações brasileiras e internacionais, entre elas: Revista Superinteressante, Exame, Você S/A, Veja, Playboy, Placar, Vip, Caros Amigos, Saúde, Info Corporate, Mundo Estranho, Terra, Correio Popular , Diário do Povo, Folha de São Paulo, O Pasquim21 (Rio de Janeiro), jornal editado por Ziraldo. Premiado em salões nacionais e internacionais de humor, entre eles o Salão Latino Americano de Humor de Piracicaba, Salão Internacional de Humor de Piracicaba, Salão Internacional de Humor do Piauí, Salão Carioca de Humor, Salão Internacional de Humor de Pernambuco, Salão de Humor de Caratinga (Minas Gerais), Salão de Humor de Montes Claros, Salão Internacional de Humor de Volta Redonda, além da Bienal de Humor de Cuba. RITA VARGAS nasceu em Évora, em 1981. É Doutorada em História da Arte pela Universidade de Jyväskylä na Finlândia, Licenciada em Artes Visuais (Escultura e Educação Artística) pela Universidade de Évora e pela Universidade de Southampton, Winchester School of Arts, Reino Unido. Realizou residência artística no Japão, em Nishiaizu International Art Village durante um ano (2007 – 2008). Depois de completar o ano probatório em Ensino de Educação Visual (2008 – 2009), seguiu para o Centro de Gravura de Jyväskylä (2009 – 2019) na Finlândia, onde viveu e trabalhou. Rita Vargas was born in Évora, in 1981. She holds a PhD in Art History from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, a BA in Visual Arts (Sculpture and Art Education) from the University of Évora and the University of Southampton, Winchester School of Arts, United Kingdom. Held artistic residency in Japan in Nishiaizu International Art Village for one year (2007 to 2008). After completing the probationary year in Visual Arts Education (2008 - 2009), she went to the Jyvaskyla Printmaking Center (2009 - 2019) in Finland, where she lived and worked. In 2010 she held an artistic residency at the Évora Cultural Center - current Association Pó de Vir a Ser, Department of Stone Sculpture and in Hamburg, Villa Magdalena K. Werkstattprojekt, (selbstverwaltetes queer-feministisches) in Germany. Currently the artist lives and works in Helsinki. Vargas opened in August 2019 her Printmaking studio (Vargas Print Studio), in collaboration with Designers of Jewelery and Fashion, where she dedicates herself exclusively to artistic creation and international curatorship. She also exhibited in Japan. Her works are found in several private and public collections in Portugal, Finland, Sweden, New Zealand, Russia, Germany and Japan..

Há cerca de um ano, abri um atelier de gravura em Helsínquia com equipamento de serigrafia e gravura em metal. Neste atelier, comecei a desenvolver uma série de cianotipias com inspiração na alma portuguesa, pouco antes da vossa chamada. Estes trabalhos consistem em fotografias tiradas em Portugal ao longo de cerca de 10 anos, sempre que podia passar um tempo junto do mar e da família. Estas imagens representam o canto da solidão, paixão, saudade e parte da minha identidade portuguesa que aos poucos se esfuma. Este trabalho é como se um Porto de Abrigo se tratasse, tal como a música da Amália, onde é possível encontrar um consolo da alma, distante do mar de onde parti, sem saber se algum dia poderei voltar. About a year ago, I opened an engraving studio in Helsinki with serigraphy and metal engraving equipment. In this studio, I started to develop a series of cyano-types inspired by the Portuguese soul, just before your call. These works consist of photographs taken in Portugal over about 10 years, whenever I could spend time with the sea and the family. These images represent the song of loneliness, passion, longing, and part of my Portuguese identity that gradually fades. This work is like a Porto de Abrigo (Shelter), like Amália's music, where it is possible to find a consolation of the soul, far from the sea where I left, without knowing if I will ever be able to return.

Mariana Duarte Santos nasceu em 1995 em Lisboa. De 2014 a 2019 fez o Curso de Desenho, o Curso Avançado em Artes Plásticas e o Projeto Individual no Ar.Co. Tem participado em várias exposições individuais e coletivas em Portugal e no estrangeiro, das quais se destacam “Chronicles of a Future Foretold” na galeria 33 Contemporary – Chicago em 2017, a Bienal de Cerveira em 2018, uma exposição individual na Casa da Cultura dos Olivais em 2018, uma exposição individual na Custom House Gallery em Westport, Irlanda em 2019 e a exposição do 12º Prémio Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso em 2020. Em 2019 começou também o seu trabalho na área da pintura mural. O seu trabalho é de natureza figurativa, centrado na pintura, desenho e gravura e bastante influenciado por outras áreas artísticas como o cinema e a literatura.

Mariana Duarte Santos was born in 1995 in Lisbon. From 2014 to 2019 she took the Drawing Course, the Advanced Course in Plastic Arts, and the Individual Project at Ar.Co. She has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad, of which "Chronicles of a Future Foretold" at gallery 33 Contemporary - Chicago in 2017, the Bienal de Cerveira in 2018, a solo exhibition at Casa da Cultura dos Olivais in 2018, a solo exhibition at the Custom House Gallery in Westport, Ireland in 2019 and the 12th Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso Prize exhibition in 2020. Pedro do Vale nasceu no Barreiro em 1990, mas cresceu em Ourém e posteriormente em Faro, onde viveu a adolescência. Segundo o próprio, conheceu as tonalidades do campo e depois do mar, manifestando o seu fascínio pela natureza e a contemplação que propicia. Aos 19 anos conheceu o frenesim de uma cidade maior, ao mudar-se para Lisboa para estudar na Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa, onde se licenciou em Desenho. Desenha e pinta, sobretudo retratos que lhe são encomendados. Nos últimos quatro anos viveu entre Lisboa e Califórnia, onde tem clientes. Por vezes faz pausas e dedica-se a outros interesses e projetos; num desses momentos viajou para Nantes e trabalhou como auxiliar de educação especial, estando em contacto com jovens com problemáticas sociais. Outra paixão que tem é a música, à qual se dedica. Expõe o seu trabalho com regularidade e foi premiado com o 3º Prémio - Design Galp Energia e 4º Prémio – Galp Energia Arte, no ano de 2015. Pedro do Vale was born in Barreiro in 1990, but grew up in Ourém and later in Faro, where he lived as a teenager. According to him, he knew the tones of the countryside and after the sea, expressing his fasci-nation with nature and the contemplation it provides. At the age of 19, he got to know the frenzy of a bigger city, when he moved to Lisbon to study at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon, where he graduated in Drawing. He draws and paints, especially portraits that are commissioned. For the past four years he has lived between Lisbon and California, where he has clients. Sometimes he takes breaks and dedi-cates himself to other interests and projects; in one of these moments he traveled to Nantes and worked as a special education assistant, being in contact with young people with social problems. Another passion he has is music, to which he dedicates himself. He regularly exhibits his work and was awarded the 3rd Prize - Design Galp Energia and 4th Prize - Galp Energia Art, in 2015.

BREVE BIOGRAFIAS DOS ARTISTAS Alexandre Sousa

24 anos, natural de Paredes-Porto, formado em Artes Plásticas Multimédia pela Faculdade Belas-Artes da Universidade do Porto. Vem a desenvolver o seu trabalho de ilustração desde 2014 quando lhe foi proposto numa aula do secundário ilustrar um livro infantilatravés da técnica da colagem. Após esse momento não deixou de criar as suas ilustração através de recortes de revistas e imagens impressas retiradas do Tumblr. O seu trabalho apresenta uma forte temática homoerótica, que passa por contar as relações falhadas e as que deram certo, num ambiente envolvido um pouco pelo o mundo da moda feminina, flores, texto e outros elementos que apoiam a imagem numa coesa composição. ALVARENGA MARQUES (Al.Ma.) nasceu em Moçambique, onde passou a maior parte da sua infância. Atualmente vive e trabalha no Porto. Obteve uma Licenciatura em Pintura em 1992, pela então Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto Repartida entre o ensino e a criação plástica, tem vindo a explorar preferencialmente as potencialidades permitidas na Pintura mas dedica-se também à fotografia e arte digital. Participou em diversas exposições coletivas e eventos desde 1988, Portugal, Alemanha, Brasil, França, Espanha, Canada, etc. Realizou várias exposições individuais em Portugal e recebeu prémios e distinções tanto em Portugal como no estrangeiro. É possível saber mais sobre a artista em www.alvarengamarques.com ANA ISABEL FREITAS, pintora e cineasta natural de São Martinho de Anta. As suas obras resultam de uma reflexão sobre a paisagem, a memória, os percursos e as relações afetivas que criamos com os diversos lugares que habitamos. Licenciada em Artes Plásticas Pintura, pela FBAUP em 2013 e Mestre em Desenvolvimento de Projeto Cinematográfico, pela ESTC em 2015. Um estágio com a escultora Eva Jospin para a realização de uma obra para o Museu do Louvre levou-a até Paris onde continua a viver e a trabalhar em projetos artísticos. Depois de uma residência artística de 3 anos na Casa de Portugal da Cité International Universitaire de Paris, desenvolve atualmente um Doutoramento sobre o folclore da comunidade portuguesa em França, na Université Paris Nanterre desde 2017. ANA JACINTO NUNES. Do meu processo criativo fazem parte as ideias, os erros, as emendas e o prazer, pois só assim se trabalha muito. Existisse perfeição e éramos todos perfeitos, mas isso não me interessa. A informação de uma tigela lascada é maior do que a de uma íntegra: além do exterior, vemos o material que verdadeiramente a compõe, percebemos o seu uso, atribuímos-lhe uma história e passa a ser única. No limite, a perfeição retira informação ao objeto. Trabalho sobre mulheres? Acho saudável trabalhar sobre o que se conhece. As técnicas e os médiuns que uso são infinitos, mas é com tinta-da-china que trabalho diariamente, influência de passar metade do ano em Macau. Vivi também na Alemanha e nos EUA, onde expus individualmente. Participei em projetos na Bélgica, Espanha, Grécia, Itália, EUA, Macau, China, Canadá e, claro, Portugal. Adoro o nosso sol. ANA POMARES. Natural do Baixo Alentejo divide a sua vida com o centro, mudou para Lisboa para estudar e encontra-se neste momento no curso de design. No meio de tantas paixões e interesses, a ilustração digital é uma delas. Criou a sua marca Focus (@anapomares_illustration) em 2019, na qual através da simplicidade do traço minimalista representa o corpo da mulher, a sua diversidade, silhuetas e formas. ANICA (Nina) Govedarica, artista plástica, croata de nascença e portuguesa por opção. Estudou desenho e pintura sob a direção do professor E. R. Tanay, em Zagreb na Croácia. Em mais de vinte anos dedicados à pintura, participou em inúmeras exposições individuais e coletivas. Expôs na Croácia, em Portugal e também em Inglatera. Além de pintura também fez ilustrações e teve pequena incursão na BD com uma curta autobiografia incluída no livro ‘LISBOA é very very typical’, editada pela Chili Com Carne. ‘Gosto pegar nas coisas geralmente consideradas marginais, ou até feias, e transformar em algo bonito. Ir à procura de harmonia é algo que acompanha o meu trabalho ao longo dos anos.’

ANTÓNIO ANDRADE SILVANO, estudante e amante das artes. Filho de galerista, desde sempre que convive no meio das artes, conhecendo muitos artistas. Dedica-se ao estudo da arte digital e das novas tecnologias. Esta foi uma oportunidade para mostrar um dos seus trabalhos, neste caso dedicado a Amália Rodrigues. ANTÓNIO BARROS, estudou na Facultat de Belles Arts, Universitat de Barcelona. Com um percurso artístico iniciado em 1986 em França, nas áreas da Pintura, da Cerâmica, da Gráfica, do Design e Escultura, onde deixou obra sua em vários edifícios públicos e coleções privadas. Em 2004 começa a expor em Portugal. Galardoado com vários Prémios, o último obtido no Carrousel du Louvre em Paris. Representado em edifícios públicos, pracetas e em organismos oficiais: Presidência da República com Dr. Jorge Sampaio; Câmaras Municipais, Museus, Bibliotecas, Pracetas e Rotundas. É sócio da Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes BOGDAN DIDE. O artista plastico contemporâneo Bogdan Dide (Bogdan Didenko) nasceu em 9 de Setembro de 1983 na cidade de Poltava na Ukrânia. Entre 2000-2005., Estudei no SSU. 2003 - começou a trabalhar com a galeria SumyArt. Desde 2012 tem participação em exposições colectivas no país e no estrangeiro. As obras estão em coleções particulares na Rússia, Ucrânia, China, Áustria, Alemanha, Itália, Portugal, Canadá, EUA…. Em 2015 vem para Portugal onde criou Atelier Pintura de Corroios onde atualmente cria as obras e dá também as aulas de pintura e desenho. SURIKOV MOSCOW STATE ACADEMY ART INSTITUTE. Licenciatura em Escultura na faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa. Foi aluna de Querubim Lapa, de Quintino Sebastião, de Lev Kerbel , e de Vidigal. Com inúmeras exposições Nacionais e internacionais, encontra-se representada em diversas galerias , museus nacionais e coleções particulares. Prémio Personalidade 2016 atribuído pelo Conselho dos Académicos de Ciências, letras e Artes. Prémio Pincel de Ouro 2017 CONINTER. Segundo Prémio de pintura em Homenagem a Raul Brandão, com a Obra “Dualidade do Ser” 2018 CAROLINA PITTA, Estudante de Design Gráfico na Escola Artística António Arroio com paixão pelo desenho e ilustração (2003-2006). Essa paixão desenvolveu múltiplos diários gráficos e uma exposição “Gota d’água” em 2011 onde apresentou cerca de 20 trabalhos de Ilustração. A ilustração é um hobbie para a vida e nunca foi levada profissionalmente. CAROLINA ROCHA, tem 22 anos, nasceu a 10 de fevereiro de 1998 e é natural de Cascais. É licenciada em Escultura pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, que frequentou de 2017 até 2020. Desde 2019 que trabalha em colaboração com a Galeria5050 em Cascais, onde produz, expõe e vende trabalhos de sua autoria. Ainda este ano, fez parte dos artistas selecionados para a 11a Bienal Internacional de Arte Jovem de Vila Verde. Atualmente reside no Castelo de São Jorge, em Lisboa, e em conjunto com alguns amigos, pertence a um ateliê coletivo em Xabregas.

CARLOS BARROCO. Nasceu em Lisboa em 1946, cidade onde viveu e trabalhou. Frequentou a Escola de Artes António Arroio e em 1988 foi bolseiro da S.E.C.. Encontra-se representado na colecção da Caixa Geral de Depósitos e em colecções particulares em Portugal e no estrangeiro. Ao longo da sua carreira, realizou exposições no país e no estrangeiro, como por exemplo em Bruxelas, Bélgica e Itália. Está citado nas seguintes monografias: Dictionary Portuguese Paintings – Tanock; Pintura e Escultura em Portugal 1940/1980 - Rui Mário Gonçalves; Jornais e publicações diversas. Faleceu em 2015 em Lisboa. CATARINA MENDES, Lisboa, 1993. CLÁUDIA SILVA nasceu a 1 de Junho de 1997 e cresceu na vila da Sertã. Foi apenas em finais de 2015, quando começou a frequentar um atelier de pintura, que teve o seu primeiro contacto com a pintura a óleo e acrílico sobre tela. Ainda que inicialmente se tenha rendido aos tradicionalismos da pintura, com o tempo acabou por encontrar a sua própria forma de se expressar. Em 2019, iniciou a apresentação da sua obra ao público com sua primeira exposição individual “Introdução”, patente na Casa da Cultura da Sertã. Organizou, em seguida, a exposição intitulada “Feminilidade”, na Biblioteca Municipal da Sertã. Em Julho, fez parte da exposição colectiva da IX Bienal de Pintura de Pequeno Formato, em Alhos Vedros. Actualmente, considera-se Surrealista, pelos seus trabalhos sobre o Feminino e a desconstrução da feminilidade, assim como pelo uso constante do tema Máscaras; e Retratista, por adorar retratar crianças e famílias, assim como grandes nomes da cultura. DANIEL ALEXANDRE RIBEIRO CURADO, nasceu em Maputo, Moçambique a 13 de Agosto de 1978. Licenciado em Artes Plásticas Pintura pela Escola Superior de Arte e Design das Caldas da Rainha. Vive e trabalha em Lisboa. DAVID AFONSO, natural de Almancil (Algarve) é um jovem arquiteto de 26 anos formado pela Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa. Enquanto arquiteto e artista, tem desenvolvido investigações sobre diferentes princípios, padrões e métodos de morfogénese que regem a ordem estrutural de fenómenos naturais através da aplicação dos mais modernos softwares para simulação, análise e otimização de dados digitais em arquitetura, oferecendo um amplo e avançado conhecimento teórico e prático de projeto computacional. De momento, frequenta o Doutoramento em Arquitetura (com especialização em Tecnologia e Gestão da Construção) na Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa. DOMINGOS MATEUS, Nasceu em Lisboa em 1961. É licenciado em Matemática pela Universidade do Minho. Exerce a sua atividade como pintor e integra também um grupo musical intitulado “Fados e Guitarras de Coimbra”. Realizou várias exposiçõesindividuais e coletivas. Foi selecionado por diversas vezes para o Concurso “Fidelidade Jovens Pintores”, para o “Prémio Júlio Resende” e “Prémio Almada Negreiros”. Ganhou Menção Honrosa na Port’Arte, Portimão, nos anos de 1992 e 1993. FERNANDO KLEWYS tem 33 anos, é natural de Goiânia(BR). Formou-se em Prótese Dentária em Lisboa demitindo-se de suas funções laboratoriais no ano de 2012. Fez às malas e foi a busca de si mesmo viajando por 14 países da UE à boleia sem um tostão

no bolso. Deu à volta a Portugal de bicicleta e pedalou até Atenas (2015) desde Lisboa sempre sem moeda para trincar. Entrou acidentalmente no mundo da arte no ano de 2017 despido de conceitos. Desde então desbrava esse cerrado de aventuras feito peão sem gado. FLAVIO ROSSI (1979) é graduado em Artes Plásticas pela Universidade PUC-Campinas/SP. Começou sua carreira como ilustrador e caricaturista, trabalhou para diversas publicações brasileiras e internacionais, entre elas: Revista Superinteressante, Exame, Você S/A, Veja, Playboy, Placar, Vip, Caros Amigos, Saúde, Info Corporate, Mundo Estranho, Terra, Correio Popular , Diário do Povo, Folha de São Paulo, O Pasquim21 (Rio de Janeiro), jornal editado por Ziraldo. Premiado em salões nacionais e internacionais de humor, entre eles o Salão Latino Americano de Humor de Piracicaba, Salão Internacional de Humor de Piracicaba, Salão Internacional de Humor do Piauí, Salão Carioca de Humor, Salão Internacional de Humor de Pernambuco, Salão de Humor de Caratinga (Minas Gerais), Salão de Humor de Montes Claros, Salão Internacional de Humor de Volta Redonda, além da Bienal de Humor de Cuba. Encerra em 2000 seu trabalho como ilustrador para imprensa , para se dedicar as artes visuais. GONÇALO CASTELO BRANCO, artista Português é um admirador do período Renascentista mas também da Arte Contemporânea. Desde cedo revelou o seu fascínio pelas diferentes formas de expressão artística e a sua atracção pela cor. Andy Warhol, Ben Shahn e Pablo Picasso têm sido os seus mentores e fonte de inspiração do seu trabalho. Uma limitação respiratória que lhe impedia o uso de tintas, tornou-se um obstáculo mas, simultaneamente uma oportunidade, levando-o a exprimir a sua criatividade através da fotografia. O domínio dos programas de manipulação de imagem, permitiu-lhe desenvolver sem limites a sua arte. Earth Song ’11 é considerado pelo artista o trabalho que melhor caracteriza a sua arte. HUGO LAMI, nasceu em Coimbra em 1994, vive e trabalha entre Londres e Lisboa. Lami fez a licenciatura de Pintura na Faculdade de Belas-Artes UL 2016, durante 2017 foi estudante convidado na Kunstakademie em Düsseldorf e posteriormente fez o Mestrado em Escultura no Royal College of Art em Londres, que terminou em 2019. O trabalho do artista analisa a evolução tecnológica, evocando a nossa relação e dependência dos nossos dispositivos e redes sociais. O seu trabalho constrói narrativas utópicas e distópicas que investigam por um lado a nossa indiferença pela Natureza e, por outro, como nos é impossível evitar uma certa biomimética em tudo o que criamos. Lami conta já com uma série de exposições no Reino Unido, na Alemanha, em Portugal e uma escultura pública na Grécia, e faz parte de várias coleções privadas por todo o mundo. INÊS GALVÃO, natural de Lisboa – 13 de Julho de 1964 1987 Licenciatura em Design e Equipamento Geral – IADE Desde 1988 mantem-se como Professora de Educação Visual no ensino público. De 1993 a 1996 - Professora de Educação Visual nos Pupilos do Exército. De 1990 a 2010 - Paginação do Jornal do Exército Paginação de publicações diversas e trabalhos de design para o Estado Maior do Exército. Trabalhos de design gráfico para a C.M.Oeiras. 2004 frequência do curso de História de Arte na Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes. 2016 curso de fotografia - Academia Olhares. 2018 e 2019 frequência do curso de desenho na Nextart – Centro de Formação Artística. ISABEL NUNES, nasceu na Parede, Cascais. Licenciou-se em História de Arte, pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Após anos de prática de pintura livre frequenta, entre 1991 e 1993, o Curso de Pintura da Academia de Artes Visuais de Macau, tendo ainda frequentado a International School of Art, em Montecastello di Vibio, Itália, e a Painting Masterclass na Slade School of Fine Art do University College of London, Reino Unido. Integrou cerca de três dezenas de exposições coletivas e mais de quatro dezenas individuais, no estrangeiro e em Portugal. IVAN MESSAC. Nasceu em Caen, França em 1948. De 1969 a 1983 participa em numerosas e importantes manifestações artísticas, como pintor: Mythologies Quotidiennes no Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris; Le Salon de la Jeune Peinture, A Bienal de Paris, Sigma de Bordeaux, etc.; Cria cenários e fatos para Es, uma coreografia de Michel Descombey baseada numa música de Stockhausen, no Théâtre de la Ville e funda a revista Le Grand Huit com Marc Villard, Olivier Kaeppelin, Dominique Labarrière e Jacques Villecrose. Participou em numerosas e importantes manifestações artísticas, estando a sua obra ligada ao Movimento de Figuração Narrativa e representado em galerias e museus de todo o mundo, com destaque para França, Alemanha, Irlanda, Espanha e Itália. As suas primeiras esculturas datam de 1983. Concluiu a licenciatura em escultura e o mestrado em multimédia (vertente de Audiovisuais) na Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal.Das exposições que realizou destacam-se, XXI Bienal Internacional de Arte de Cerveira, Vila Nova de Cerveira 2020; XV Edição do prémio Pintura e escultura D.Fernando II, Sintra 2019; Película passageira, Galeria António Prates, Lisboa 2019; Fílmica Joana Pitta & Pat O’Neill, Monitor Lisbon Gallery, Lisboa; SINGULAR PACE, Zet Gallery, Braga 2019. O seu trabalho constitui-se a partir da desmaterialização do seu médium de base: o vídeo, geralmente captado com imagens comuns do nosso quotidiano. O vídeo é assim, destituído da sua continuidade narrativa e temporal, desmaterializando-se em simples frames. Mediante um processo de actualização medial, os frames são impressos sobre acetato e justapostos, re-materializando-se numa nova paisagem sob a forma de um objecto escultórico. JOÃO FIGUEIREDO, nasceu em Lisboa em 1970. No seu percurso académico estão incluídos vários anos dedicados ao estudo de História de Arte. Curso de cinema de animação no ACARTE Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Licenciou-se em Design em 1993, pelo IADE e mais tarde frequentou o curso de desenho e artes plásticas no AR.CO. Recebeu alguns prémios como: 2010 “ART.COM CASCAIS” • 1o Prémio • C.M. de Cascais, 2007 “III PRÉMIO ARTE ERÓTICA” • C.M. de Gondomar, 2005, “IX PRÉMIO D. A sua obra encontra-se representada em várias e importantes coleções privadas e públicas. , nasceu em 1960, Lisboa. Bacharelato em escultura pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa (FBAUL). Com vários prémios e exposições nacionais e internacionais e representado em várias entidades públicas e privadas, desde Alemanha, Angola, Áustria, Brasil, Espanha, Estados Unidos da América, Hungria, Itália, Líbano, Luxemburgo, Macau-China, Países Baixos, Portugal e Suíça. JOSÉ FREIRE, nascido em 1946 é natural do Fundão. É um autodidata que criou uma nova e genuína forma de pintura. O seu percurso artístico foi alicerçado num intenso e studo e pesquisa das várias correntes e técnicas do azulejo e do mosaico. Sendo a azulejaria o resultado de uma incursão da pintura sobre a cerâmica, a pintura de José Freire faz o caminho inverso : utiliza a cerâmica não como final depósito do ofício, mas como inicial ferramenta para com ele fazer a sua pintura. A sua complexa arte, patente nas obras que tem exposto em galerias e outros locais, tem uma cada vez maior procura.

JOSÉ GUEDES é artista multi-mídia nascido em Fortaleza, Brasil, em 1958, onde vive e trabalha. Autodidata. Entre individuais e coletivas, já expôs na Alemanha, na Argentina, no Chile, na Colombia, em Cuba, no Equador, na Escócia, na Espanha, nos Estados Unidos, na França, na Holanda, na Hungria, na Itália, no Líbano, no Perú, na Rússia, no Uruguai. Ganhou 17 prêmios, entre eles uma Palete D’Or no Festival internacional de Cagnes Sur-Mer, França, em 1995. JOSÉ LOURO, 1964 Nascido em Lisboa, vive em Oeiras. Licenciou-se em design industrial no IADE em 1992. Em 2006 concluiu o Mestrado em Desenho na Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa e desde então desenha (quase) todos os dias em pequenos cadernos tudo o que vê. É professor e formador na área do desenho. LEONEL MOURA. Nasceu em 1948 em Lisboa, cidade onde vive atualmente, depois de ter passado pela Holanda e Argélia. Artista multifacetado, para além da pintura e escultura, desenvolve projetos de arquitetura, escreve romances e tem publicado vários artigos de opinião. Recentemente, desenvolveu uma pesquisa concernante à relação da arte com a ciência ArtSBot - para a qual foi financiado pela Fundação Ciência e Tecnologia, sob a coordenação científica de Henrique Garcia Pereira. Deste projeto resultou o Manifesto da Arte Simbiótica e a construção de robots que pintam e desenham aleatoriamente através de mecanismos sensoriais. Tem realizado exposições e conferências em importantes cidades internacionais como Paris, Nova Iorque, Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo. LETICIA KAMADA, nasceu em São Paulo/Brasil, em 1975. Artista Visual, Performer e Audiodescritora. Bacharel em Artes Visuais/Comunicação Visual pela UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista (São Paulo, 1998), com especialização em Criação de Imagem e Som em Meios Eletrônicos (São Paulo, 2010). Desde então, cria através da exploração visual de seu entorno, suas imagens e performances são heterot-pias da dúvida e dos gestos cotidianos. De suas pesquisas atuais, destacam-se: as fotoperformances do #TreinoIMAGINÁRIOemPoema, #CORPOemcena, #48_48 e #excessodePELEexposta. As fotografias em movimento do #HaikaiAudiovisual e as audiodescrições do #oquevocêVÊéoquevocêOUVE. É ativista da educação popular, desde 1999, com cursos voltados ao desenvolvimento do olhar e à leitura de imagens. LÍGIA FERNANDES (Setúbal, 1985) trabalha desde 2017 com artes visuais, territórios e comunidades. Possui a licenciatura em Desenho pela Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, onde atualmente frequenta o Mestrado em Pintura (com intercâmbios no Montenegro, Letónia e Estónia). Das bolsas e distinções destacam-se os prémios SGPCM-FBAUL e CGD-FBAUL.. Através de práticas de pesquisa artística e etnográfica realiza projetos de pintura e desenho em torno da identidade e memória, assim como iniciativas participativas onde as artes visuais são ferramentas para a relação social, o diálogo e a empatia. Há, em todo o seu trabalho, a consciência do seu ponto de vista português. LILIANA ALCARIA é natural de Faro e estudou escultura na Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Lisboa. Participou nas exposições colectivas: EMPÍRICO (2016) e Desencontrados(2017), em Aljustrel; Pensar Fazer(2016), Proença-a-Nova; Do Convento para o Palácio (2017), no Palácio de Oeiras; Claustro 8(2017), em Lisboa; Terra de Ninguém, Museu Militar de Lisboa. Colaborou também para o projecto e execução da escultura Hexagonal(2016), em Proença-a-Nova. MAIA HORTA (Timor, 1974) vive e trabalha em Lisboa. Completou o Mestrado em pintura na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa em 2010. É licenciada em Belas Artes e Literatura Comparada pela University of Maryland, E.U.A. onde estudou de 1993-1997. Tem exposto regularmente desde que terminou o mestrado. Das exposições individuais destacam-se: a exposição Art Lovers, na Soapbox Gallery em Nova York, Poshlust na Around the Corner e Going Bananas na Arte Graça em Lisboa, e Instapaintings: uma performance dentro de uma montra. A sua obra é conceptual, crítica, e processual, e por vezes cómica ou provocadora na sua apropriação da história de arte.

Atualmente desenvolve um trabalho pluridisciplinar focado no desenho, na pintura e na gravura. Nesta última vertente, começou a explorar recentemente as potencialidades da água-forte na criação de grafismos únicos, resultantes de uma interpretação de linguagem pessoal de paisagens visuais. MARIA LUÍSA RAMIRES, nasceu em Coimbra, em 1994. Vive e trabalha em Lisboa. Concluiu o curso de Pintura na Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa em 2016 e o Mestrado de Mercados da Arte no ISCTE em 2018. Utiliza no seu trabalho práticas artísticas como o desenho, a manipulação digital e a serigrafia têxtil. Combina frequentemente técnicas manuais com técnicas digitais, remetendo-nos para a união entre estes dois mundos. Expõe o seu trabalho desde 2016, em Portugal e no estrangeiro, em países como Espanha, França, Israel, Nova Zelândia, Dinamarca. Conta com exposições em diversas instituições como o Museu Nacional Machado de Castro em Coimbra, o Museu Nacional do Tesouro da Misericórdia em Viseu, o Convento do Carmo em Lisboa e a Casa das Histórias em Cascais. MARIANA DUARTE SANTOS, nasceu em 1995 em Lisboa. De 2014 a 2019 fez o Curso de Desenho, o Curso Avançado em Artes Plásticas e o Projeto Individual no Ar.Co. Tem participado em várias exposições individuais e coletivas em Portugal e no estrangeiro, das quais se destacam “Chronicles of a Future Foretold” na galeria 33 Contemporary – Chicago em 2017, a Bienal de Cerveira em 2018, uma exposição individual na Casa da Cultura dos Olivais em 2018, uma exposição individual na Custom House Gallery em Westport, Irlanda em 2019 e a exposição do 12º Prémio Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso em 2020. Em 2019 começou também o seu trabalho na área da pintura mural. O seu trabalho é de natureza figurativa, centrado na pintura, desenho e gravura e bastante influenciado por outras áreas artísticas como o cinema e a literatura.

Regressei a Portugal, Lisboa, onde estudei uma pós-graduação em Web e Mobile Design e voltei a residir e a trabalhar em Setúbal. MARIOLA LANDOWSKA. Nasceu em 1957 na cidade de Szczecin na Polónia. Estudou no “Istituto di Belle Arti Gazzola” em Piacenza, Itália. Como admiradora de arte rupestre e de cultura indígena, realizou várias viagens pelo Brasil onde conviveu com as tribos da Amazônia. Inspirada pelo fado e pelas inflûencias de outras culturas lusófonas. O seu interesse pela arqueologia, etnografia, mitologia e novas culturas inspiram a sua pintura da qual têm resultado várias exposições individuais e coletivas. À procura da diversidade da sua expressão artística desenvolve trabalho em azulejo eescultura em mármore. Expõe regularmente desde 1990 na Polónia, Itália, Portugal, Dinamârca e Brasil. Desde 2008 está representada na Enciclopédia da Cidade de Szczecin. Vive e trabalha em Portugal desde 1994. MARTA NUNES, nasci na Primavera de 1984 em Lousada e aprendi a desenhar antes de me saber explicar, porque nem sempre há palavras para dizer tudo o que se sente. Formei-me em Arquitectura, na Universidade da Beira Interior e foi desde aí que a ilustração apareceu na minha vida começando a colaborar em diversos projectos, como publicações, exposições individuais e colectivas. Num dia-a-dia de trabalho a ilustração surge sempre como o momento de liberdade e é cada vez mais a paixão a tempo inteiro. MARTA TEIXEIRA, Nascida em Coimbra a 31 de Agosto de 1989, formou-se em Pintura pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. Completou a sua formação com os cursos de desenho de nível I e II da SNBA e vários cursos na NextArt em Lisboa durante o tempo da sua licenciatura e após esta, incluindo em 2020 um workshop de Métodos e técnicas do desenho de Séc XIX com o artista Nelson Ferreira na FBAUL. Participou em exposições colectivas e individuais como a exposição colectiva “Desenhar a Prosa”(2015) na Biblioteca Municipal de Loures e a exposição individual “Desumanização” (2020) na galeria Paletro. O seu trabalho procura aliar as técnicas clássicas do desenho de retrato com a linguagem da arte contemporânea e da ilustração. MARTINHO DIAS, (n. 1968, Sto. Tirso), reside atualmente na Trofa, onde tem atelier. É mestre em Artes Plásticas – Pintura, pela Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto. Martinho Dias dedica-se inteiramente à atividade artística desde 2009. O seu trabalho integra diversas coleções e tem sido mostrado regularmente em Portugal e no estrangeiro. Em 2005, “Imagens Projectadas”, Lisboa, com curadoria de Rui Paes. Em 2006, exposição individual “Aplauso”, Galeria Cañizares, Brasil e, no ano seguinte, na Galeria São Bento, Lisboa. Artista plástica, cujo trabalho incide essencialmente na pintura, mas não de forma exclusiva. De facto, gosto de misturar tintas, e de utilizar materiais distintos (telas, rendas, cerâmica, madeira, papel…). Gosto de empastar e de produzir baixo-relevo… de colar e de transformar o que tenho à minha disposição em matéria plástica; incluindo apontamentos de poesias (outros pedaços de mim). Inspiro-me aqui e ali… onde cantam searas, papoilas e cardos, embutidos em seiva de alvorada… onde encanta o cante da planura azul anil no frenesim do silvar da passarada… ali, à bolina de auroras e ocasos em clima de paixão declarada… No meu torrão de sonho. Gleba amada! PATRÍCIA GIRÃO. Nasceu em Coimbra a 12 de outubro de 1996, e é apaixonada pelo mundo das Artes desde que se conhece. Iniciou o seu percurso no clube das Artes da escola aos 9 anos, acabando em 2018 por se licenciar em Arte e Design na Escola Superior de Educação de Coimbra - onde lecionou um Atelier de Artes Plásticas na Escola de Verão Júnior desse ano. A maior parte dos conhecimentos artísticos e técnicos foram sendo adquiridos por experiência própria, e as suas obras têm um especial foco na figura humana. Apaixonada por estética visual, foca-se na pintura e no desenho de retratos, pretendendo captar o que se encontra por detrás de cada olhar que representa. Já participou em demonstrações de desenhos ao vivo, várias exposições coletivas e uma individual, e produz desde 2012 encomendas personalizadas para quem procura o seu traço e o carinho que coloca nas obras, pertencendo a diversas coleções particulares. PAULO PEREIRA (Paper) Nasceu em 1963 em Coimbra, cidade onde residiu até concluir o ensino secundário. Nessa época manteve uma frequência assídua no CAPC (Círculo de Artes Plásticas de Coimbra), onde participou em diversas exposições coletivas. Em 1989 licenciou-se em Artes Plásticas – Pintura na Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto. Após a conclusão da licenciatura, iniciou a carreira docente, pertencendo atualmente ao quadro de nomeação definitiva da Escola Secundária José Falcão de Coimbra. Em 2001 regressou aos estudos e frequentou o curso de mestrado em Design Industrial da Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, curso que concluiu no ano de 2004. Em 2018 assumiu o cargo de Embaixador Local do Programa de Educação Estética e Artística (PEEA) da Direção Geral da Educação (DGE). Expõe as suas obras com regularidade desde 1989. PEDRO DO VALE nasceu no Barreiro em 1990, mas cresceu em Ourém e posteriormente em Faro, onde viveu a adolescência. Segundo o próprio, conheceu as tonalidades do campo e depois do mar, manifestando o seu fascínio pela natureza e a contemplação que propicia. Aos 19 anos conheceu o frenesim de uma cidade maior, ao mudar-se para Lisboa para estudar na Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa, onde se licenciou em Desenho. Desenha e pinta, sobretudo retratos que lhe são encomendados. Nos últimos quatro anos viveu entre Lisboa e Califórnia, onde tem clientes. Por vezes faz pausas e dedica-se a outros interesses e projetos; num desses momentos viajou para Nantes e trabalhou como auxiliar de educação especial, estando em contacto com jovens com problemáticas sociais. Outra paixão que tem é a música, à qual se dedica. Expõe o seu trabalho com regularidade e foi premiado com o 3º Prémio - Design Galp Energia e 4º Prémio – Galp Energia Arte, no ano de 2015. RICO SEQUEIRA. Nasceu em Portugal, em 1954. O seu percurso expositivo, iniciado em 1982, regista-se em vários países, entre os quais se destaca Portugal, Espanha, França, Alemanha, Suíça, Luxemburgo, Bélgica, Suécia, Canadá, Brasil e Argentina. Entre exposições individuais e colectivas em galerias, o artista foi também convidado a expor em alguns museus assim como em Feiras e Salões Internacionais de Arte, como sejam a ARCO, a FAC, a Estampa ou a Grands et Jeunes. RITA VARGAS nasceu em Évora, em 1981. É Doutorada em História da Arte pela Universidade de Jyväskylä na Finlândia, Licenciada em Artes Visuais (Escultura e Educação Artística) pela Universidade de Évora e pela Universidade de Southampton, Winchester School of Arts, Reino Unido. Realizou residência artística no Japão, em Nishiaizu International Art Village durante um ano (2007 – 2008). Depois de completar o ano probatório em Ensino de Educação Visual (2008 – 2009), seguiu para o Centro de

Gravura de Jyväskylä (2009 – 2019) na Finlândia, onde viveu e trabalhou. Em 2010 realizou residência artística no Centro Cultural de Évora – actual Associação Pó de Vir a Ser, Departamento de Escultura em Pedra e em Hamburgo, Villa Magdalena K. Werkstattprojekt, (selbstverwaltetes queer-feministisches) na Alemanha. Actualmente a artista vive e trabalha em Helsínquia. Vargas inaugurou em Agosto de 2019 o seu atelier de Gravura (Vargas Print Studio), em colaboração com Designers de Joalharia e Moda, onde se dedica exclusivamente à criação artística e à curadoria internacional. Expôs também no Japão. Os seus trabalhos encontram-se em várias colecções privadas e públicas em Portugal, Finlândia, Suécia, Nova Zelândia, Rússia, Alemanha e Japão. RODRIGO VELOSO Com um mestrado em arquitectura e uma anterior passagem pelas artes visuais, Rodrigo tem uma abordagem versátil à arte e às suas diferentes formas, desde o desenho, à pintura, ilustração e , mais recentemente, a cerâmica. Nos estudos universitários escolheu a arquitectura pelo desafio do desconhecido e por saber que não iria abandonar as artes, mas sim complementar as competências artísticas que já adquirira nas artes visuais. Durante o curso de arquitetura continuou a utilizar bastante os seus diários gráficos para representar as ideias dos projectos em que trabalhava, principalmente na fase inicial/conceptual dos mesmos, desenvolvendo sempre uma narrativa muito própria. Paralelamente à universidade, manteve o hábito de desenhar em projectos pessoais e profissionais com foco no retrato. No desenvolvimento do projecto final em arquitectura, surgiu a oportunidade de desenvolver outro projecto em paralelo com o qual há muito ansiava, uma exposição individual de desenho e pintura. Esta exposição, intitulada “Chapter one” aconteceu no espaço da Galeria CCQ em Belém em outubro de 2018. Após terminar o curso de arquitectura trabalhou como arquitecto estagiário no reconhecido atelier ARX Portugal Arquitectos, durante o qual manteve a prática do desenho e da pintura e onde em Maio de 2020, decidiu sair do atelier e abraçar o que seria descrito como uma viagem individual pelo seu percurso de artista. ROMAS TAURAS, mudei-me para Portugal há sete anos para reorientar a minha carreira em direção às artes. Nascido na Itália, passando a minha infância nos Estados Unidos e educado no Reino Unido, trabalhei em finanças, rádio e, mais recentemente, para um dos mais antigos fabricantes de porcelana da Europa. O meu percurso profissional girou à volta do mercado de capitais, usando números e palavras para incentivar os investidores a agirem. Agora, tenho aplicado as habilidades que aprendi às narrativas visuais. Estou atualmente a aperfeiçoar a minha técnica artística estudando desenho e pintura. Uma inspiração para mim é o pintor mais famoso do mundo antigo, Apelles. ‘Nulla dies sine linea’ - Nem um dia sem uma linha desenhada. Tenho um grande fascínio por questões de linhagem. Todo o seu trabalho desapareceu, mas a sua linhagem pode ser atribuída à arte de hoje. Os rostos são uma fonte infinita de inspiração visual para mim. RUI CARRUÇO, nasceu na década de setenta em Lisboa. Seguiu uma vida académica sempre ligada às ciências exatas, pelas quais é apaixonado, até decidir unir esta paixão à Arte, mais concretamente à pintura. Pintando sempre desde cedo, experimentando e arriscando como autodidata, encarou a pintura como atividade organizada por volta do ano de 1998. Em 2000, frequentou o curso de desenho da Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes e em 2004 o curso de técnicas de pintura renascentista da Angel Academy of Arts em Florença. Vencedor de vários prémios e distinções, já realizou inúmeras exposições individuais e coletivas em várias partes do mundo e encontra-se representado em várias coleções públicas e privadas de referência. SALVATORE MARRAS. Nasci em Nuoro em 1967, onde moro e trabalho como designer gráfico e ceramista. Depois de me formar no Instituto de Arte de Nuoro (1986), continuei meus estudos como ceramista e decoradora de cerâmica, no A.N.A.P. Sardenha de Nuoro (1988-1991). Em 1994 frequentei uma residência artística para cerâmica em Bremen, no Keramik Atelier Hilde Holstein, com bolsa do Projeto Petra II, V.E.B. Academia Europeia de Florença. Em 2007 estudei cerâmica no laboratório artístico SARA em Vietri sul Mare. Em 2005 obtive a qualificação de Técnico Superior em Multimédia e Web na área do Património Artístico e Cultural no Instituto Ciusa de Nuoro. Desde 1992 participo de concursos e exposições de arte na Itália e no exterior. SÉRGIO JOÃO FONSECA DE MATOS, nascido em 1980, em Lisboa, vive actualmente em Sintra. Formação Académica: Licenciado em Filosofia pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Licenciado e Mestre em Escultura pela Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. Actualmente inscrito no

3º Ano do Doutoramento em Belas-Artes (vertente Escultura) na Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, onde é investigador do CIEBA (Centro de Investigação e Estudos em Belas - Artes). Nasceu em Santarém em 1934, Iniciou a sua atividade artística como pintor em 1948 na área da cerâmica, altura em que estudou desenho e pintura com Ramos Ribeiro. Realizou a primeira exposição em Goa. Em 1977, criou os primeiros cartões para tapeçaria e formou, em conjunto com outros dois artistas, o grupo G.I.P. No ano de 1997 recebeu, em Paris, a Medalha de Prata Mérite et Dévouemant Français e no ano seguinte recebeu a Medalha de Bronze Arts-Sciences-Lettres, atribuída na mesma cidade. Está representado em coleções nacionais e internacionais. SOFIA MARTINS RODRIGUES. Nasceu em 8 de agosto de 1993 e desde pequenina pintava dois bigodes na cara e dizia ser pintora. Seguindo o seu traço, ingressou na Faculdade de Arquitetura de Lisboa para o curso de Design. Diletante e viajante, explorou novas formas de expressão na Tailândia e no Chile, onde começou a fazer projetos audiovisuais. Recente no meio artístico, o seu trabalho assenta num processo de exploração e interação com o que a rodeia, dissecando a realidade através das linhas, cores e das formas. Encontra-se atualmente a tirar o curso de Pintura II na ARCO e a fazer vários projetos, que passam pela fotografia, pintura e performances. Nesta homenagem a Amália, assume o traço como a forma mais honesta de expressão e a cor azul como o abraço entre a nostalgia e a celebração do fado e deste nome tão marcante na cultura portuguesa. SÓNIA DURÃO Nasceu em Vila Real. Começou sua abordagem às artes ainda criança, no deslumbramento do trabalho do seu tio Claude Roiez. Por curiosidade e audácia, os seus primeiros trabalhos aparecem em óleo sobre tela, inspirados nos grandes nomes da pintura. É na técnica de acrílico sobre tela que ela melhor explora suas inspirações, derramando-as livremente, espontaneamente e com ousadia. No atelier, ela constrói desde o zero, a escolha de madeiras, telas, até a elaboração e acabamento. Este trabalho diz que não só me permite controlar a qualidade do material, mas aproxima-me da tela desde a sua essência. Expõe no Porto em 2015 em diversos espaços a convite. Em 2016, devido ao seu trabalho como professora, dirige-se ao Algarve. E é no levante do Mediterrâneo que as suas últimas Obras surgiram. Em 2017 expõe em Silves, Moncarapacho e Olhão. Em 2018, expõe em Vilamoura. A convite da Galeria Gaudi - Madrid expõe na Feira de Arte Contemporânea de Marbella 2019. Regularmente ela cria trabalhos sob encomenda para clientes particulares e corporativos.” SUSANA BATALHA (1985). Nasceu em Évora e cresceu em Mont mor-o-Novo, onde viveu até aos 17 anos.Em 2003 parte para Lisboa para estudar Pintura na Faculdade de Belas Artes. Depois de ter realizado Erasmus em Groningen na Holanda (2007), e de ter vivido em Itália (2009), muda-se em 2010 para a Alemanha. Em 2014 conclui o mestrado em educação artística em Institut für Kunst Pädagogik da universidade Justus Liebig em Gießen. Tendo estado ligada à temática do retrato e auto conhecimento até então, Susana começa em Março de 2020 a explora aspetos ligados a uma intimidade e sensibilidade pessoais através da pintura abstrata. Susana é curadora da página @portuguese_women_artists no instagram. SUSANA CARVALHO (Lisboa, 1990). Pintora, ilustradora, gravadora e web designer. Licenciada em Pintura pela Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. Começa a expor em 2010, tendo participado em diversas exposições e eventos artísticos nacionais e internacionais desde esse ano. As suas obras têm por base os conceitos de Espírito do Lugar e Espelho dentro do tema da Paisagem, situações críticas atuais no mundo, entre outras questões. No presente ano de 2020 recebe dois prémios: na mais recente “Exposição O Lince Sob Perspetiva” ganha o 2o prémio na categoria de pintura com a obra “Lynx Pardinus”. Também neste ano é vencedora no “Concurso Sardinhas Festas de Lisboa 2020”, com a obra “Estamos Juntos”, elaborada em arte digital. TITO CHAMBINO, nasceu em 1996 na cidade de Castelo Branco. Licenciou-se em Pintura na Faculdade Belas Artes na Universidade de Lisboa, no ano de 2019. No domínio das artes plásticas, interessa-lhe maioritariamente explorar a vertente da escultura/instalação e da pintura - sendo que a primeira tem vindo a assumir uma maior preponderância no seu projecto autoral. Subjacentes ao seu trabalho estão questões em torno do espaço – o espaço na peça, a peça em função do espaço que ocupa, e aquilo que as medeia – questões em torno do tempo – enquanto permutabilidade da obra - e questões em torno do material e da matéria, onde predomina uma redução e simplificação estrutural. TITO SENNA, nasceu no Rio de Janeiro, Brasil em 1985. Atualmente vive em Portugal, na cidade do Porto. Mestrando em Artes e Design no Espaço Público/MADEP pela Universidade do Porto. Graduado em Desenho Industrial pela UNESA em 2009. Estudou Arte da Pintura na Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage no Rio de Janeiro. E trabalha com arte urbana desde 1998. Tito passou a realizar projetos envolvendo arte contemporânea e espaço público em meados dos anos 2000, com a criação do coletivo Apocalipse Crew no Brasil. Este grupo propôs um misto de linguagens envolvendo cultura de rua e arte contemporânea. Todo o seu trabalho é multidisciplinar, envolve elementos relacionados ao espaço público, arte de rua e arte contemporânea. Desde 2015 tem participado de residências artísticas internacionais pelo menos uma vez por ano. Toda essa experiência permite ao artista mergulhar na cultura local e criar obras que dialogam com o espaço imerso. Suas obras são o reflexo de uma imersão espacial e um olhar lúdico do lugar. VERA FONSEKA. Nascida em Tallinn, Estónia em 1982. Licenciada em Pintura pela Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa em 2014, a Vera Fonseka é desde 2018 aluna do Mestrado Integrado em Psicologia na FPUL. Representada pela Galeria António Prates, produz a sua obra, inspirada pela desordem do tempo atual, transmitindo uma existência paradoxal entre a delicadeza minuciosa dos detalhes e a brutalidade da iconografia utilizada em simultâneo. Entre as exposições destacam-se : Salão de Primavera, na Galeria de Arte do Casino Estoril (2014); a exposição individual na Galeria António Prates em 2015; o mural “Waterchild” (festival PA-REDES) que pode ser consultado no site da Fundação Gulbenkian. VITOR MALVA, nasceu no ano de 1988 em Coimbra, onde vive e trabalha. Frequentou desde os 14 anos o curso de Artes na Escola Secundária de Avelar Brotero e concluiu em 2014 (após um intercâmbio na Scuola di Architettura e Società di Milano) o Mestrado Integrado em Arquitectura pela Escola Universitária das Artes de Coimbra. Após o estágio de admissão à Ordem dos Arquitectos deixou o seu trabalho no atelier de Arquitectura e iniciou um ciclo de formações na área da Fotografia e, posteriormente, Serigrafia. Desde então, desenvolve trabalho na área das Artes Visuais. Teve a sua primeira exposição individual em Janeiro de 2019 no âmbito da programação paralela das Inaugurações Simultâneas de Miguel Bombarda no Porto e, desde então, tem participado em exposições e concursos destacando-se a sua participação na Mostra Nacional de Jovens Criadores 2018 onde foi vencedor na área da fotografia, o que o levou a ser um dos representantes de Portugal na Bienal de Jovens Criadores da CPLP em Luanda, Angola. 24 years old, born in Paredes, Oporto, graduated in Plastic Arts-Multimedia from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Oporto. He has been developing his illustration work since 2014 when he was proposed in a high school class to illustrate a children’s book using the collage technique. After that moment, he did not stop creating his illustrations through clippings from magazines and printed images taken from Tumblr. His work has a strong homoerotic theme, which includes counting the failed relationships and those that worked, in an environment somewhat involved in the world of women’s fashion, flowers, text and other elements that support the image in a cohesive composition.

ALVARENGA MARQUES (Al.Ma.) was born in Mozambique, where she

spent most of her childhood. Currently lives and works in Oporto. Obtained a degree in painting in 1992 by the then School of Fine Arts of Oporto Divided between teaching and artistic creation, she has preferably exploit the potential permitted in painting but also dedicated to photography and digital art. Participated in several group exhibitions and events since 1988, Portugal, Germany, Brazil, France, Spain, Canada, etc. She held several solo exhibitions in Portugal and received awards and distinctions both in Portugal and abroad. ANA ISABEL FREITAS, painter and filmmaker from São Martinho

de Anta. Her works are the result of a reflection on the landscape, the memory, the paths and the affective relationships we create with the different places we inhabit. Degree in Plastic Arts - Painting, by Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUP) in 2013 and Master in Cinematographic Project Development, by ESTC in 2015. An internship with sculptor Eva Jospin to carry out a work for the Louvre Museum took her to Paris where she continues to live and work on artistic projects. After a 3-year artistic residency at the Casa de Portugal of Cité International Universitaire de Paris, she is currently developing a PhD on the folklore of the Portuguese community in France, at Université Paris Nanterre since 2017.

ANA JACINTO NUNES. My creative process includes ideas, errors,

amendments, and pleasure, because that is the only way to work hard. There was perfection and we were all perfect, but that doesn’t interest me. The information of a chipped bowl is greater than that of an intact one: in addition to the exterior, we see the material that truly composes it, we perceive its use, we attribute a story to it and it becomes unique. At the limit, perfection removes information from the object. Work on women? I think it’s healthy to work on what is known. The techniques and mediums I use are endless, but it is with Chinese ink that I work daily, influenced by spending half the year in Macau. I also lived in Germany and the USA, where I exhibited individually. I participated in projects in Belgium, Spain, Greece, Italy, USA, Macau, China, Canada and, of course, Portugal. I love our sun.

POMARES Born in Baixo Alentejo, she divides her life with the center, moved to Lisbon to study and is currently in the design course. Amid so many passions and interests, digital illustration is one of them. She created her brand Focus (@anapomares_illustration) in 2019, in which, through the simplicity of the minimalist line, represents the woman’s body, its diversity, silhouettes and shapes. Portuguese by choice. She studied drawing and painting under the direction of Professor E. R. Tanay, in Zagreb, Croatia. In more than twenty years dedicated to painting, she participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. She exhibited in Croatia, Portugal and in England. In addition to painting, she also made illustrations and had a small incursion into the comics with a short autobiography included in the book ‘LISBOA is very very typical’, edited by Chili Com Carne. ‘I like to take things that are generally considered marginal, or even ugly, and turn them into something beautiful. in the village of Sertã. It was only in late 2015, when she started attending a painting studio, that she had her first contact with oil and acrylic painting on canvas. Although she initially surrendered to traditional painting, over time she found her own way of expressing herself. DAVID AFONSO, was born in Almancil (Algarve) he is 26 years old

and is a young architect who attended Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon. While architect and artist, he has been developing research on different principles, patterns and morphogenesis methods that govern the structural order of natural phenomena through the application of the most modern software for simulation, analysis and optimization of digital data in architecture, offering a wide and advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of computational design. Now, he is attending the PhD in Architecture (with specialization in Technology and Construction Management) at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon.

DOMINGOS MATEUS, He was born in Lisbon in 1961. He has a

degree in Mathematics from the University of Minho. He works as a painter and is also part of a musical group entitled “Fados e Guitarras de Coimbra”. He held several solo and group exhibitions. He was selected several times for the “Fidelidade Jovens Pintores” Competition, for the “Júlio Resende Award” and “Almada Negreiros Award”. Won an Honorable Mention at Port’Arte, Portimão, in the years 1992 and 1993.

FERNANDO KLEWYS is 33 years old, born in Goiânia (BR). He

He packed his bags and searched for himself traveling through 14 EU countries hitchhiking without a penny in his pocket. He rode around Portugal by bicycle and cycled to Athens (2015) from Lisbon, always without a coin to crack. He accidentally entered the art world in 2017, stripped of concepts. CARLOS BARROCO. Born in Lisbon in 1946, the city where he lived and

worked. He attended the António Arroio School of Arts and in 1988 he received a scholarship from S.E.C .. He is represented in the Caixa Geral de Depósitos collection and in private collections in Portugal and abroad. Throughout his career, he held exhibitions at home and abroad, such as in Brussels, Belgium, and Italy. He is quoted in the following monographs: Dictionary Portuguese Paintings - Tanock; Painting and Sculpture in Portugal 1940/1980 - Rui Mário Gonçalves; Several newspapers and publications. He died in 2015 in Lisbon.

Renaissance period but also of Contemporary Art. From an early age he revealed his fascination with different forms of artistic expression and his attraction to color. Andy Warhol, Ben Shahn and Pablo Picasso have been his mentors and source of inspiration for his work. A respiratory limitation that prevented the use of paints, became an obstacle but, simultaneously, an opportunity, leading him to express his creativity through photography. The mastery of image manipulation programs allowed him to develop his art without limits. Arthur Song ’11 is considered by the artist to be the work that best characterizes his art.

HUGO LAMI was born in Coimbra in 1994, lives and works between London and Lisbon. Lami graduated in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon 2016, during 2017 he was a guest student at the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf and subsequently took a Masters in Sculpture at the Royal College of Art in London, which ended in 2019. ISABEL NUNES was born in Parede, Cascais. She graduated in Art

History, from Nova University of Lisbon. After years of free painting practice, she attended, between 1991 and 1993, the Painting Course at the Macao Academy of Visual Arts, having also attended the International School of Art, in Montecastello di Vibio, Italy, and the Painting Masterclass at the Slade School of Fine Art at University College of London, United Kingdom. She integrated around thirty group exhibitions and more than forty solo exhibitions, abroad and in Portugal. She was awarded the FEMINA 2016 prize for merit in the plastic and visual arts and in 2017 she received the art and culture prize from the FRONTLINE magazine. They wrote about her work, Margarida Marques Matias, Fernando Guedes, Carlos Marreiros, Fernando Conduto, Fernando Dias, Fernando António Baptista Pereira, Ana Duarte, Rocha de Sousa, Afonso de Almeida Brandão, D. Carlos Moreira de Azevedo and Luísa Soares de Oliveira. She is represented in several private and public collections in Portugal, Macau, the United Kingdom, Finland, Germany and in the collections of His Holiness Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI and Pope Francis, Vatican.

IVAN MESSAC. Born in Caen, France in 1948. From 1969 to 1983 he

participated in numerous and important artistic events, as a painter: Mythologies Quotidiennes at Musée d’Art Moderne of Ville de Paris; Le Salon de la Jeune Peinture, The Biennial of Paris, Sigma de Bordeaux, etc.; Create scenarios and suits for Es, a choreography by Michel Descombey based on a music by Stockhausen, at the Théâtre de la Ville and founds Le Grand Huit magazine with Marc Villard, Olivier Kaeppelin, Dominique Labarrière and Jacques Villecrose. He participated in numerous and important artistic manifestations, his work is linked to the Narrative Figuration Movement and he is represented in galleries and museums around the world, with emphasis on France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, and Italy. His first sculptures date from 1983. JOANA PITTA is born, lives and works in Lisbon. She completed a

degree in sculpture and a master’s degree in multimedia (Audiovisuals) at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Among the exhibitions she held, the XXI International Biennial of Art of Cerveira, Vila Nova de Cerveira 2020; XV Edition of the D. Fernando II Painting and Sculpture Award, Sintra 2019; Passing film, António Prates Art Gallery, Lisbon 2019; Film Joana Pitta & Pat O’Neill, Monitor Lisbon Gallery, Lisbon; SINGULAR PACE, Zet Gallery, Braga 2019. In 2020, she is invited to participate in the celebrations of the centenary of the Birth of Amália Rodrigues, making a work for the exhibition “Amália, Um Olhar Contemporâneo” at the António Prates Art Gallery. In 2019, the work “Generic name of all terrain bands”, receives the Honorable Mention in Painting, in the XV EDITION OF THE SINTRA D. FERNANDO II PAINTING AND SCULPTURE PRIZE. In 2018 she received the SHAIRART G-ABA Awards and the Luzlinar Award. Her work is based on the dematerialization of her basic medium: the video, usually captured with common images of our daily lives. The video is thus deprived of his narrative and temporal continuity, dematerializing in simple frames. Through a process of medial updating, the frames are printed on acetate and juxtaposed, re-materializing in a new landscape in the form of a sculptural object.

JOÃO FIGUEIREDO was born in Lisbon 1970. His academic path

includes several years dedicated to the study of Art History. Animation cinema course at ACARTE Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Graduated in Design in 1993, by IADE and later attended the drawing and visual arts course at AR.CO. JOSÉ FREIRE, born in 1946 is a native of Fundão. He is a self-taught

person who created a new and genuine form of painting. His artistic journey was based on an intense study and research of the various currents and techniques of tiles and mosaics. Since tiles are the result of a foray of painting over ceramics, José Freire’s painting takes the opposite path: it uses ceramics not as the final deposit of the craft, but as an initial tool for making his painting. His complex art, evident in the works he has exhibited in galleries and other places, has an increasing demand.

JOSÉ GUEDES is a multi-media artist born in Fortaleza, Brazil, in

1958, where he lives and works. Self-taught. Between solo and group exhibitions, he has exhibited in Germany, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Scotland, Spain, the United States, France, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Lebanon, Peru, Russia, Uruguay. LOURO, 1964. Born in Lisbon, he lives in Oeiras. He graduated in industrial design at IADE in 1992. In 2006 he completed his Master’s in Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon and since then he draws (almost) every day in small notebooks everything he sees. He is a teacher and trainer in the area of drawing. LEONEL MOURA. He was born in 1948 in Lisbon, the city where

he currently lives, after having passed through Netherlands and Algeria. A multifaceted artist, in addition to painting and sculpture, he develops architectural projects, writes novels and has published several opinion articles. Recently, he developed a research concerning the relationship between art and science - ArtSBot - for which it was funded by the Science and Technology Foundation, under the scientific coordination of Henrique Garcia Pereira. This project resulted in the Symbiotic Art Manifesto and the construction of robots that paint and draw randomly through sensory mechanisms. He has held exhibitions and conferences in important international cities such as Paris, New York, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

LETICIA KAMADA was born in São Paulo / Brazil, in 1975. Visual

Artist, Performer and Audio writer. Bachelor of Visual Arts / Visual Communication from UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista (São Paulo, 1998), with specialization in Image and Sound Creation in Electronic Media (São Paulo, 2010). Since then, she creates through visual exploration of her surroundings, her images and performances are heterotopies of doubt and everyday gestures. Of her current research, the following stand out: the photoperformances of # TreinoIMAGINÁRIOemPoema, #CORPOemcena, # 48_48 and #excessodePELEexposta. The moving photographs of #HaikaiAudiovisual and the audio descriptions of #oquevocêVÊéoquevocêOUVE. Since 1999 she has been a popular education activist, with courses focused on the development of gaze and image reading..

LÍGIA

FERNANDES (Setúbal, 1985) works since 2017 with visual arts, territories and communities. She has a degree in Drawing from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, where she currently attends the Master in Painting (with exchanges in Montenegro, Latvia and Estonia). Of the grants and distinctions, the S GPCM-FBAUL and CGD-FBAUL awards stand out. Through artistic and ethnographic research practices, she carries out painting and drawing projects around identity and memory, as well as participatory initiatives where the visual arts are tools for social relationship, dialogue, and empathy. There is, in all her work, the awareness of her Portuguese point of view.. LILIANA ALCARIA is from Faro and studied sculpture at the Faculty of

Fine Arts of Lisbon. Participated in group exhibitions: EMPÍRICO (2016) and Desencontrados (2017), in Aljustrel; Pensar Fazer (2016), Proença-à-Nova; Do Convento para o Palácio (2017), at the Oeiras Palace; Cloister 8 (2017), in Lisbon; Terra de Ninguém, Military Museum of Lisbon. She also collaborated into the project and execution of the Hexagonal sculpture (2016), in Proença-à-Nova.

MAIA

HORTA (Timor, 1974) lives and works in Lisbon. She completed her Master’s in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon in 2010. She has a degree in Fine Arts and Comparative Literature from the University of Maryland, USA where she studied from 1993-1997. She has been exhibiting regularly since finishing her master’s degree. Of the solo exhibitions the following stand out: The Art Lovers exhibition, at the Soapbox Gallery in New York, Poshlust at Around the Corner and Going Bananas at Arte Graça in Lisbon, and Instapaintings: a performance inside a storefront. MARIA CORREIA DA LUZ was born on January 27, 1999, in Lisbon.

Currently attends the Degree in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. MARIA INÊS GOMES, born in Tondela, she was born on July 16, 2000

and from an early age showed a great love for the arts and theater, being actively involved in projects in both areas since 2015. In 2018, she joined the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Oporto, where she attended the degree of Plastic Arts, in the field of Painting. She currently develops multidisciplinary work focused on drawing, painting and engraving. In this last aspect, she recently began to explore the potential of etching in the creation of unique graphics, resulting from an interpretation of the personal language of visual landscapes.

MARIA LUÍSA RAMIRES was born in Coimbra in 1994. Lives and works

in Lisbon. Completed the Painting Course at Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon in 2016 and the Master of Art Markets at ISCTE in 2018. In her work, she uses artistic practices such as drawing, digital manipulation and textile screen printing. She often combines manual techniques with digital techniques, referring to the union between these two worlds.She exhibits her work since 2016, in Portugal and abroad, in countries such as Spain, France, Israel, New Zealand, Denmark. She has exhibitions in several institutions such as the Machado de Castro National Museum in Coimbra, Treasure of Mercy National Museum in Viseu, Carmo Convent in Lisbon and House of Stories in Cascais.

MARIANA DUARTE SANTOS was born in 1995 in Lisbon. From 2014

to 2019 she took the Drawing Course, the Advanced Course in Plastic Arts, and the Individual Project at Ar.Co. She has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad, of which “Chronicles of a Future Foretold” at gallery 33 Contemporary - Chicago in 2017, the Bienal de Cerveira in 2018, a solo exhibition at House of Culture of Olivais in 2018, a solo exhibition at the Custom House Gallery in Westport, Ireland in 2019 and the 12th Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso Prize exhibition in 2020. In 2019 she also started her work in mural painting. Her work is of a figurative nature, centered on painting, drawing and printmaking and quite influenced by other artistic areas such as cinema and literature.

MARIANA MOURATO I was born in Setúbal in 1991, I studied Visual Arts - Painting, in Évora. After graduating, I lived in Berlin as a visual artist for 3 years. I also lived in the Netherlands and England, Cambridge, respectively over a year. I returned to Portugal, Lisbon, where I studied a postgraduate degree in Web and Mobile Design and returned to live and work inSetúbal.

MARIOLA LANDOWSKA. She was born in 1957 in the city of

Szczecin in Poland. She studied at the “Istituto di Belle Arti Gazzola” in Piacenza, Italy. As an admirer of rock art and indigenous culture, she made several trips around Brazil where she lived with the tribes of the Amazon. Inspired by fado and the influences of other Lusophone cultures. Her interest in archeology, ethnography, mythology and new cultures inspire her painting, which has resulted in several solo and group exhibitions. In search of the diversity of her artistic expression, she develops tile work and marble sculpture. Exhibits regularly since 1990 in Poland, Italy, Portugal, Denmark and Brazil. Since 2008 she has been represented in the Encyclopedia of the City of Szczecin. Lives and works in Portugal since 1994.

MARTA NUNES, I was born on the Spring of 1984 in Lousada and learn

to draw before I could explain myself as a person, because there are not always words to say everything you feel. I graduated in Architecture, in the Beira Interior University and it was from there that the illustration appeared in my life starting to collaborate on several projects, such as publications, solo and group exhibitions. In a day-to-day work the illustration always appears as the moment of freedom and it is more and more a fulltime passion.

MARTA

TEIXEIRA, Born in Coimbra on August 31, 1989, she graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. She completed her training with drawing courses at National Society of Fine Arts level I and II and several courses at NextArt in Lisbon during the time of her degree and after it, including in 2020 a workshop on Methods and techniques of 19th century drawing with the artist Nelson Ferreira at Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Participated in group and solo exhibitions, as the group exhibition “Draw the Prose” (2015) at the Municipal Library of Loures and the solo exhibition “Dehumanization” (2020) at the Paletro gallery. Her work seeks to combine the classical techniques of portrait drawing with the language of contemporary art and illustration. MARTINHO DIAS, (born 1968, Santo Tirso), he currently lives in

Trofa, where he has a studio. Master in Fine Arts - Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts of Oporto. Martinho Dias has dedicated himself entirely to artistic activity since 2009. His work is part of several collections and has been shown regularly in Portugal and abroad. In 2005, “Images Projectadas”, Lisbon, curated by Rui Paes. In 2006, solo exhibition “Aplauso”, Galeria Cañizares, Brazil and, the following year, at Galeria São Bento, Lisbon. In 2007, 1st Prize (ex aequo) “Corpo em Expressão”, Servartes, Oporto and participation in ArtMADRID, with António Prates Art Gallery. MORAIS COM COR (Carolina) is 20 years old and was born in Oporto.

Morais com Cor appeared in early 2020 and aims to combine the surname Morais with a striking feature of her works, the Color. The arts have always been present in her life. Dance and music were early forms of expression that accompanied her. She completed secondary education in Graphic Arts, at Colégio Internato dos Carvalhos, where she discovered her passion for visual arts, especially illustration. To develop skills to explore the emotions expressed in the works, as well as enrich her own artistic language, with a reflective character, linking life and art, she attends the Psychology Degree. She is in a training given by the Faculty of Fine Arts of Oporto, “Character Development”.

In recent years, he has specialized in “rebranding” of brands like EDP, Fundação EDP and Jerónimo Martins. He is the winner of seven international Awards for Editorial Design from the Society for News Design and two international illustration awards from SND Spain. Recently, he won the public tender for “rebranding” of CMVM - Securities Market Commission. Illustrator, animator and infographic designer in newspapers such as Independente, Diário Económico and Jornal de Negócios. Two years ago, he founded the multimedia publisher NTDesign. OKSANA

ZAHRYVA (Sumy, Ukraine, 1994). Studied at The National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Kyiv, Ukraine, 2014), attended a degree at the Fine Arts School of the University of Lisbon (Lisbon, Portugal, 2020). Plastic artist, whose work focuses mainly on painting, but not exclusively. He is also interested in the particularities of the two-dimensional representation of drawing, engraving and photography, and the potential of three-dimensional representations of ceramics or the multidisciplinary construction of the installations.He focuses on themes that mix experiences from his childhood with time and the fragility of memory, to represent spaces he never knew and events that never happened. The interaction of the body with space takes precedence in his compositions that appear as an analogy to the relationship and positioning of the human species with the planet on which he lives. Lives and works in Lisbon. PAPER (PAULO PEREIRA) He was born in 1963 in Coimbra, where he

lived until he finished high school. At that time, he maintained a frequent attendance at CAPC (Circle of Plastic Arts of Coimbra), where he participated in several group exhibitions. In 1989 he graduated in Fine Arts - Painting at the School of Fine Arts in Oporto. After graduation, he began his teaching career, currently belonging to the permanent board of teachers of Secondary School José Falcão Coimbra. In 2001, he returned to his studies and attended the master’s course in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Oporto, a course he completed in 2004. In 2018 he assumed the position of Local Ambassador of the Aesthetic and Artistic Education Program (AAAEP) General Directorate of Education (GDE). He exhibits his works regularly since 1989.

PATICO. I was born on 04/07/1971, in Monforte. I love to draw, paint, write,

mold clay ... and it is usual to use different techniques to express myself! In fact, I like to mix paints, and to use different materials (canvas, lace, ceramics, wood, paper ...). I like to paste and produce bas-relief ... to paste and to transform what I have at my disposal in plastic, including poetry notes (other pieces of me). I get inspired here and there… where cornfields, poppies and thistles sing, embedded in the dawn sap… where the song of the indigo blue plain enchants in the frenzy of the hissing of the bird ...there, in the wake of dawns and sunset in declared climate of passion, …In my dream clod. Beloved land!

PATRÍCIA GIRÃO Born in Coimbra on October 12, 1996, she has been in

love with the world of Arts since she knows herself. She started her career at the school’s Arts club at the age of 9, ending in 2018 by graduating in Art and Design at the School of Education in Coimbra - where she taught a Plastic Arts Atelier at the Junior Summer School that year. Most of the artistic and technical knowledge was acquired through experience, and her works have a special focus on the human figure. Passionate about visual aesthetics, she focuses on painting and drawing portraits, intending to capture what lies behind each look she represents. She has already participated in live drawing demonstrations, several group exhibitions and in a solo one, and since 2012 has been producing custom orders for those looking for her trait and the affection she puts in the works, represented in several private collections.

PEDRO DO VALE was born in Barreiro in 1990, but grew up in Ourém

and later in Faro, where he lived as a teenager. According to him, he knew firstly the tones of the countryside and only then those of the the sea, expressing his fascination with nature and the contemplation it provides. At the age of 19, he got to know the frenzy of a bigger city, when he moved to Lisbon to study at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon, where he graduated in Drawing. He draws and paints, especially portraits that are commissioned. For the past four years he has lived between Lisbon and California, where he has clients. Sometimes he takes breaks and dedicates himself to other interests and projects; in one of these moments he traveled to Nantes and worked as a special education assistant, being in contact with young people with social problems. Another passion he has is music, to which he dedicates himself. He regularly exhibits his work and was awarded the 3rd Prize - Design Galp Energia and 4th Prize - Galp Energia Art, in 2015.

RICO SEQUEIRA. He was born in Portugal, in 1954. His exhibition path,

started in 1982, is registered in several countries, among which Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Sweden, Canada, Brazil and Argentina stand out. Among solo and group exhibitions in galleries, the artist was also invited to exhibit in some museums as well as in International Art Fairs and Salons, such as ARCO, FAC, Estampa or Grands et Jeunes.

RITA VARGAS was born in Évora, in 1981. She holds a PhD in Art History from

the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, a BA in Visual Arts (Sculpture and Art Education) from the University of Évora and the University of Southampton, Winchester School of Arts, United Kingdom. Held artistic residency in Japan in Nishiaizu International Art Village for one year (2007 to 2008). After completing the probationary year in Visual Arts Education (2008 - 2009), she went to the Jyvaskyla Printmaking Center (2009 - 2019) in Finland, where she lived and worked. In 2010 she held an artistic residency at the Évora Cultural Center - current Association Pó de Vir a Ser, Department of Stone Sculpture and in Hamburg, Villa Magdalena K. Werkstattprojekt, (selbstverwaltetes queer-feministisches) in Germany. Currently the artist lives and works in Helsinki. Vargas opened in August 2019 her Printmaking studio (Vargas Print Studio), in collaboration with Designers of Jewelery and Fashion, where she dedicates herself exclusively to artistic creation and international curatorship. She also exhibited in Japan. Her works are found in several private and public collections in Portugal, Finland, Sweden, New Zealand, Russia, Germany and Japan.

RODRIGO VELOSO. With a master’s degree in architecture and a

previous passage through the visual arts, Rodrigo has a versatile approach to art and its different forms, from drawing, painting, illustration and more recently ceramics.In university studies, he chose architecture due to the challenge of the unknown and knowing that he would not abandon the arts, but rather complement the artistic skills he had already acquired in the visual arts.During the architecture course he continued to use a lot his graphic diaries to represent the ideas of the projects he worked on, mainly in the initial / conceptual phase of them, always developing a very personal narrative. Alongside the university, he maintained the habit of drawing on personal and professional projects with a focus on portraiture.In the development of the final project in architecture, the opportunity arose to develop another project in parallel with which I have longed for, an individual drawing and painting exhibition. This exhibition, entitled “Chapter one” took place at the CCQ Gallery in Belém in October 2018. After finishing the architecture course, he worked as a trainee architect at the renowned ARX Portugal Arquitectos atelier, during which he maintained the practice of drawing and painting and where, in May 2020, he decided to leave the atelier and embrace what would be described as an individual journey for his career as an artist.

ROMAS TAURAS. Visually minded, intellectually curious, I moved to

Portugal seven years ago to reorient my career towards the arts. Born in Italy, raised in America, and educated in the UK, I’ve worked in finance, freelance radio and most recently for one of Europe’s oldest porcelain makers, in Portugal. For two decades, my professional storytelling has revolved around the capital markets, using numbers and words to stir investors into action. Now, I have applied the skills I learned to visual narratives. I am currently perfecting my artistic technique by studying drawing and painting. An inspiration for me is the most famous painter in the ancient world, Apelles. ‘Nulla dies sine linea’ Not a day without a drawn line. I have a great fascination with lineage issues. All his work has disappeared, but his lineage can be attributed to today’s art. Faces are an endless source of visual inspiration for me.

RUI CARRUÇO, was born in the 70’s in Lisbon. He followed an

academic life always linked to the exact sciences, which passionate him, until he decided to combine this passion with Art, more specifically with painting. Always painting from an early age, experimenting, and risking as a self-taught person, he saw painting as an organized activity around the year 1998. In 2000, he attended the drawing course at the National Society of Fine Arts and in 2004 the renaissance painting techniques course at the Angel Academy of Arts in Florence. Winner of several awards and distinctions, he has held a great number of solo and group exhibitions in many parts of the world and is represented in several public and private collections of reference.

SALVATORE MARRAS. I was born in Nuoro in 1967, where I live and

work as a graphic designer andceramist. After graduating from the Nuoro Art Institute (1986), I continued my studies as a ceramist and ceramic decorator, at A.N.A.P. Sardinia de Nuoro (1988-1991). In 1994 I attended an artistic residency for ceramics in Bremen, at the Keramik Atelier Hilde Holstein, with a scholarship from the Petra II Project, V.E.B. European Academy of Florence. In 2007 I studied ceramics at the SARA artistic laboratory in Vietri sul Mare. In 2005 I obtained the qualification of Superior Technician in Multimedia and Web in Artistic and Cultural Heritage at Instituto Ciusa de Nuoro. Since 1992 I have participated in art competitions and exhibitions in Italy and abroad.

SÉRGIO JOÃO FONSECA DE MATOS, , was born in 1980, in Lisboa, lives

nowadays in Sintra. Degree in Philosophy by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Bachelor and Master in Sculpture by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Currently enrolled in the 3rd year of the PhD in Fine Arts (Sculpture) in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon where he is a researcher at CIEBA (Center for Research and Studies in Fine Arts). SILVA PALMEIRA. Born in Santarém in 1934, he started his artistic

activity as a painter in 1948 in the area of ceramics, when he studied drawing and painting with Ramos Ribeiro. He held his first exhibition in Goa. In 1977, he created the first tapestry cards and formed, together with two other artists, the group G.I.P. In 1997 he received the Mérite et Dévouemant Français Silver Medal in Paris and the following year he received the Arts-Sciences-Lettres Bronze Medal, awarded in the same city. It is represented in national and international collections.

SOFIA MARTINS RODRIGUES. She was born on August 8, 1993 and since

she was a little girl, she painted two mustaches on her face and claimed to be a painter. Following her line, she joined the Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon for the Design course. Dilettante and traveler, she explored new forms of expression in Thailand and Chile, where she began to do audiovisual projects.Recent in the artistic world, her work is based on a process of exploration and interaction with her surroundings, dissecting reality through lines, colors, and shapes.She is currently taking the Painting II course at ARCO and doing several projects, which include photography, painting and performances. In this tribute to Amália, she takes the dash as the most honest form of expression and the blue color as the embrace between nostalgia and the celebration of fado and this name so striking in Portuguese culture.

SÓNIA DURÃO. Was born in Vila Real. She began her approach to the

arts as a child, in the dazzle of her uncle Claude Roiez&#39;s work. Out of curiosity and audacity, her first works appear in oil on canvas, inspired by the great names in painting. It is in the technique of acrylic on canvas that she best explores her inspirations, spilling them freely, spontaneously, and boldly. In the studio, she builds from scratch, choosing woods, canvases, until elaboration and finishing. This work, she says not only does it allow me to control the quality of the material, but it brings me closer to the canvas from its essence. Exhibits in Oporto in 2015 in several spaces by invitation. In 2016, due to her work as a teacher, goes to the Algarve. And it&#39;s in

Silves, Moncarapacho and Olhão. In 2018, exposes in Vilamoura. By invitation of Galeria Gaudi Madrid, she exhibits at the Contemporary Art Fair of Marbella 2019. She regularly creates custom work for private and corporate clients.”

SUSANA BATALHA (1985). She was born in Évora and grew up

in Montemor-O-Novo where she lived until the age of 17. In 2003 she left for Lisbon to study painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts. After having done Erasmus in Groningen in the Netherlands (2007), and having lived in Italy (2009), she moved to Germany in 2010. In 2014 she completed her master’s degree in artistic education at Institut für Kunst Pädagogik from Justus Liebig University in Gießen. Having been linked to the theme of portraiture and self-knowledge until then, Susana begins in March 2020 to explore aspects related to personal intimacy and sensitivity through abstract painting. SUSANA

CARVALHO (Lisbon, 1990). Painter, illustrator, engraver and web designer. Graduated in Painting by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. She started exhibiting in 2010, having participated in several national and international exhibitions and artistic events since that year. Her work process develops mainly in three areas - painting, drawing and engraving - that complement each other. Her works are based on the concepts of Spirit of the Place and Mirror within the theme of Landscape, current critical situations in the world, among other issues. In the present year of 2020, she received two prizes: the most recent exhibition “O Lince Sob Perspetiva” “The Lynx Under Perspective” she wins the 2nd prize in the painting category with the work “Lynx Pardinus”. Also, this year she is winner in the Competition “Sardinhas Festas de Lisboa 202 “, with the work “Somos Junto “, created in digital art. TITO

CHAMBINO, was born in 1996 in the city of Castelo Branco. He graduated in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon, in 2019. In the field of plastic arts, he is mainly interested in exploring the aspects of sculpture / installation and painting - the first of which has taken on a greater role in his authorial project. Underlying his work are issues around space - the space in the piece, the piece in terms of the space it occupies, and what mediates them - issues around time - as interchangeability of the work - and issues around the material and matter, where structural reduction and simplification predominates. SENNA, was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1985.. Currently lives in Portugal, in the city of Oporto. Master’s in arts and Design in Public Space / MADEP at the University of Oporto. Graduated in Industrial Design at UNESA in 2009. He studied Art of Painting at the School of Visual Arts at Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro. And he works with urban art since 1998. Tito started to carry out projects involving contemporary art and public space in the mid-2000s, with the creation of the collective Apocalipse Crew in Brazil. This group proposed a mix of languages involving street culture and contemporary art. All his work is multidisciplinary, involving elements related to the public space, street art and contemporary art. Since 2015 he has participated in international artistic residencies at least once a year. All this experience allows the artist to immerse himself in the local culture and create works that dialogue with the immersed space. His works reflect a spatial immersion and a playful look of the place. VERA FONSEKA. Born in Tallinn, Estonia in 1982. Graduated in

Painting by the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon in 2014, Vera Fonseka has been a student of the Integrated Master in Psychology at FPUL since 2018. Represented by Galeria António Prates, she produces her work, nspired by the disorder of the present time, transmitting a paradoxical existence between the meticulous detail and the brutality of the iconography used simultaneously. Among the exhibitions the following stand out: Salão de Primavera, at the Casino Estoril Art Gallery (2014); the individual exhibition at the António Prates Art Gallery in 2015; the mural “Waterchild” (festival PA-REDES) which can be found at the Gulbenkian Foundation site.

VITOR MALVA was born in 1988 in Coimbra, where he lives and

works. He attended the Arts course at Avelar Brotero Secondary School from the age of 14 and concluded in 2014 (after an exchange at Scuola di Architettura and Società di Milano) the Integrated Master in Architecture at the University School of Arts in Coimbra. After the internship at the Ordem dos Arquitectos, he left his job at the Architecture atelier and started a cycle of training in the field of Photography and, later, Serigraphy. Since then, he develops work in the Visual Arts area. He had his first individual exhibition in January 2019 within the scope of the parallel program of the Simultaneous Inaugurations of Miguel Bombarda in Oporto and, since then, he has participated in exhibitions and competitions highlighting his participation in the 2018 National Exhibition of Young Creators where he was the winner in the field of photography, which led him to be one of the representatives of Portugal at the CPLP Biennial of Young Creators in Luanda, Angola. More recently he was selected to be part of the XXI International Biennial of Art of Cerveira.
