What are Common Demolition Methods Employed? When a Demolition Company gets an assignment to dismantle a structure it calls in their Demolition Experts. Experts then decide along with the Demolition Contractor whether to go for Manual Demolition, Building Implosion or Non-Explosive Demolition. • Manual: Generally one or two story buildings are razed using Excavators, or Bull Dozers or Metallic Sears. This method is only used for high rise when demolition is not appropriate in the area. • Explosive: As the name suggests high rise buildings are generally demolished using explosive charges. The aim is to use minimum explosive so that the stuff fly around less and costs are down.
