Dear Members,

We hope that you had an incredible time last week at our Thanksgiving celebrations. Everyone was out in full force to enjoy the excellent work of our culinary and food & beverage teams, along with another successful Turkey Trot managed by our incredible Strata team.

Now we prepare for the end-of-year holiday events, which is my favorite time of the year at the club. It’s a particularly special time to enjoy the special social aspects of your club and for us to know what a close and strong community we have created and share together.

The property is alive with the spirit of the season, as we’ve continued to enhance our holiday decorations for your pleasure. The exterior tree holiday lights are shining bright, the gingerbread house and interior decorations are set, and the crispness of the air lends to the joy felt by all. I hope to see you enjoying all the Club has to offer during this very special time of the year.

Plan your Saturday and Sunday shopping days by starting at the Grand View dining room with brunch ordered a la carte. Be sure to mark Sunday, December 18th on your calendar for Santa’s Brunch Buffet beginning at 10:00 a.m., this will give your children a last opportunity to let Santa know what they want for Christmas. Don’t forget also to come by the main lobby of the Lodge anytime to leave notes for Santa in our north pole mailbox.

The Grand View and Kissing Camels Grille and Bar have your meals covered for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Please see all their offerings in the Food and Beverage section of the newsletter.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Grand View, Kissing Camels Grille and Bar, or the Rocks Lounge. Festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. through midnight. Whether you are looking for an early evening or want to bring in the New Year at midnight, we have several celebrations for you to choose to bring in the New Year.

Kids’ Club has a full itinerary of events for the holidays beginning on Friday, December 2nd with Movie Night with Santa, Christmas Ornament Decorating on December 9th, and Gingerbread House Building on December 17th .

Visit Strata Spa soon to let your light shine bright for the holidays with a Pumpkin Enzyme Peel Facial or a Peppermint Pedicure. And remember that for your last-minute gifts, Garden of the Gods Resort and Club has an array of holiday selections in all the retail outlets.
